Feel like Bucks have to be sitting on some kind of trade details.

Boy, Milwaukee seems to be in panic mode. Last two deals are not inspiring.

Feel terrible for Bucks fans, but as a guy with Giannis dreams I'm supposed to be happy about his. But mostly just hate how badly they are building around Giannis right now.

I agree - Augustin and Portis are nice players who anyone would have no problem with coming off their bench - but was it worth triggering the hard cap? Especially when you have the ability to use Ilyasova in a sign and trade to create outgoing salary.

They could have signed Augustin to a 3 year, $18MM deal, or 4 year $24.5MM with the taxpayer mid level. If anything, make the 4th year a partial guarantee. I'd almost prefer to have Ilyasova at $7MM without the limitations of the hard cap + access to the bi annual exception next year over Portis.

Brunson in trade talks? I know Dallas loves these little guards, but there are too many right now.

The Bogdonovic to the Lakers rumors, plus AD holding out on signing a short term extension, is starting to get interesting.

SAC was interested in Kuzma at the deadline and Kuzma isn't really a fit on the Lakers with Harrell. The Lakers can also use Rondo as outgoing salary in a sign and trade.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Davis take a discount on a 1 + 1, with Lebron doing the same next season when Davis bumps up to the max, to facilitate Bogdonovic coming to the Lakers (for Kuzma/McGee/Rondo to a third team along w a 2nd rd pick from the Lakers). If Davis goes to $30MM and KCP signs a mid level deal, this should leave the Lakers with room for 4 veteran minimum contracts and 2 rookie min contracts to round out the roster. Of course, this would require Bogdonovic signing a deal starting at $13.9MM - 4 years - $59.44MM - averages just shy of $15MM per year

Davis/Harrell
James/Matthews
KCP/Carusso/THT
Bogdonovic/Schroeder

2 of the 4 veteran minimum slots would be used on rim protector types - Tristian Thompson and Marc Gasol for example
1 of the vet min slots would be used on a shooter - Kyle Korver
The final slot would be used on a hybrid 3/4 defender - DeMarre Carroll

Gasol/Thompson
Davis/Harrell/
James/Matthews/Carroll
KCP/Carusso/THT
Bogdonovic/Schroeder

From there, there is room for either 2 rookie scale minimum players ($850k) or 1 more vet minimum player ($1.6MM).

Don't overlook this with AD taking a discount, and potentially KCP below the $9.28MM mid level. AD's $2.7MM discount in the COVID world is only about $750k to him after escrows, agent fees, taxes, ect.

Bogdan is interesting. If he goes to LA, I expect the Hawks to continue spending. This could have been the hold up on Rondo as well. The Rondo signing was suppose to be close last night.

Fun theory, but I'm not sure why Anthony Davis would take another haircut. One thing if it was to squeeze Kawhi in.

That would be a top three off season in my opinion. Might be the best one.

Don’t worry, the Mavs are done this offseason.

I’m really interested in what happens with Hayward though. He’s way too great a player to be sitting at home.

The Mavs do still have part of the MLE right? Other than what was spent on Trey Burke.

I'd definitely rather it was Johnson than THJ. I think Johnson can be a fringe rotation guy and his attitude is something Dallas is lacking, but I think Tim's shooting is still more useful even with Hayward coming back.

I would be happy either way and don’t expect either..

Just feel like we can find a bench shooter easier than a banging four. And with Richardson, THJ is just a bench shooter right?

But I do get really happy thinking of adding Millsap MLE, Hayward, and Josh Richardson to last years team..

I have Richardson/THJ the starting wings right now. KP/DFS/Richardson/THJ/Luka. If they sign Millsap he replaces DFS. Powell or Maxi starts for KP until he's back.

I think the starting lineup should be

KP/Maxi/Richardson/THJ/Luka

Bench: Powell, Brunson, DFS, Terry, Johnson, Green, Burke, Bey, Bobi

Seriously, letting aside future picks, does anyone an idea of what is the OKC roster right now?
Presti aside, of course.

The Kings no longer have the same front office that allegedly had interest at the deadline.

I’d like to see what teams still have max cap space for 2021.

Charlotte talking to Cousins, hoping for Giles, but Cousins I prefer to Whiteside or Harrell

Also looks like we will have a very clean capsheet next offseason, upwards of 70 million in space, with only Rozier making money after this season and I bet he will be traded at some point before the trade deadline. Still holding on to the chance Ball is ridiculously good and we get the #1 pick and have tons of cap room to entice a star to come play with Ball and Cunningham/Green

The Hawks do if they stop right now and do not offer any more long term deals.

The haircut is relatively small in AD's world ($750k after taxes, ect for a dude that makes $30MM). So it's not unheard of, especially if Lebron will opt out and do the same next year.
