I singled out the last team at the time that I remember a fan saying they would do Atlanta a favor and take him for free. Since your last trade proposal today for Gallo and Bogdan, I think one or two Mavs fans said the same thing. But that was before this post you are calling me out for.

If I don't use Mod colors its an informal conversation so you can relax. I just think it was unnecessary to cite a specific team and as expected you got a reaction. It's not a big deal but it certainly doesn't make things better.

I posted it as a humorous reminder to all of us to remember not to make lowball offers. Not as an opportunity to pick specific fights. And I believe that free agents who sign top of the market free agency deals are largely neutral in value. If they were worth more they would have signed for more. So you don't have to agree that Gallo is neutral value, but its not an outrageous suggestion by any means.

I wouldn’t worry about it, I click on most of the rumor sites expecting to see “Boston is interested (insert most player names here)”.

Used to be the Knicks back in the day, it’s been other teams before.

My opinion and this is all that matters since its a reasonable post. I think it was perfectly relevant to the tweet.

Worry or highly concerned is not how I would take any of my post on this board. Basketball is a about competition and enjoyment. If anyone is seriously stressing/worrying, maybe they should find something else to start enjoying.

I do remember those Knicks days and the Great NY Post ( dripping with sarcasm and laughing ).

Why didn't the Bucks do Wilson, Craig, and Nworo/Merrill instead of Wilson and Augustin

Bucks now need another backup pg and I thought Augustin was solid

Who is available that is cheap?

My suggestion is trading BroLo for a PG then look to pick up a C in buyouts.

Could be that Milwauke values Nwora/Merrill higher than Wilson/Augustin. Or, could be that Houston preferred Augustin/Wilson over the other 3.

Also I think Augustin was pretty bad for them. Don't really think they'd have too hard a time finding a decent backup who can at least replicate him.

They could probably get Raul Neto off the wizards. They are rumored to be interested in Isaiah Thomas.

You’ve got to figure that if anyone worthwhile gets bought out, they should be a team of interest for any vet that becomes available.

Shabazz Napier is still teamless this year and was a solid backup last year.

these all seem like pretty underwhelming options for a team with championship aspirations.

Interesting Windhorst nugget that the Bulls are more likely to trade Lauri than Thad. Not sure if that means they are afraid of his price tag on a new deal or what?

I know he's not an ideal fit defensively next to KP, but I like him a bit as a Dallas target in FA or even trade if the price was reasonable.

I assume it also has something to do with perceived return. Lauri can get some decent assets back, but despite Thad's play this season you're still probably looking at a fairly "meh" return for him. Might as well keep Thad and keep pushing for a playoff birth and cash in to some extent on Lauri if the price is right.
