Yet another surgery for AD and why he didnt have this earlier is a valid question. Just ridiculous with this guy

He gets hit in the face 30k times a season and already has vision problems and was hoping to avoid an eye surgery.

I know it’s not a surgery that will keep him out… Tanking with AD and Kyrie in suits is not a bad result for the season
Kyrie/Peterson/Flagg/AD/Lively next season would feel like a playoff team with a really high short term and long term ceiling..

I think perhaps we take a step back and decide what does NY need? Moving Bridges or OG is a must? If so, what is the most glaring hole that needs plugging?
I think they need a good player who can create his own shot and help to run the offense while Brunson rests.
Use Bridges or OG cause they are good players but NYK needs more help with offense(creation).
I'd just try keeping them and seeing if Beal will sign cheap. If that fails, perhaps bring Brogdon in cheap.
Agree. I think trading OG or Bridges for creation help risks creating a bigger hole than it plugs. Also, NYK has already acquired Jordan Clarkson to provide a bit of juice off the bench

Yeah, but he's no playmaker. He's simply a microwave scorer at best. I think JHFVF07 was looking for someone to take the ball out of Brunson's hands to make good decisions rather than the blinders being put on.

Gafford to the Indy
Jarace Walker to OKC
Aaron Wiggins to Dallas
Indy has Pascal & Toppin at the 4, so they turn Jarace into their Myles replacement. Okc has a guard surplus so this gets them a bigger forward. Dallas gets a starting caliber SG.
Then see if Philly would do Klay for Oubre/Drummond. Dal would need to trim their roster still, but a lot more balanced and cleaner
Lively/Drummond
AD/PJ
Flagg/Naji/Martin
Wiggins/Christie/Oubre
Kyrie/DLow/Exum

Real random bad idea.
Was thinking of Olynyk/Champagnie for Rozier/2026 swap (off of OKC first)
But due to aggregating it would have to be..
Olynyk for Simone and a second
Kispert, AJ Johnson, Champagnie for Terry and a swap
Terrible?
Gets Miami far enough under tax to use full MLE once they trim roster down..

I’ve been thinking about Zion to Phoenix and the more I think about it the more I like it.

Okc keeps wiggins over walker (need new contract soon).

Jalen Green.
Or some version of filler and Maluch.
I think the Suns have like 7m or so under the 2nd apron after stretch waiving Beal.

anyone know what the Spurs are doing?
It's like they are half committed to being a competitive team and half not.

AJ was a 1st last year and showed some talent (and Champagnie was terrific for that matter). Interested in Kispert, Smart, and a 2nd (or Florida State guard Jamir Watkins) for Terry, Fontecchio and the swap?

Huh? They clearly plan on being a competitive team. They addressed a huge area of need (bench bigs/shooting), and added two rookies who at least one of should be able to contribute positively. Not to mention adding a fully healthy Fox with a summer training with the team under his belt + getting a healthy Wemby back. Spurs still have two open roster spots too. They are making incremental improvements. It's clear they are not trying to go all out yet but are being patient but they should still be much improved from this past year. I expect them to be in the playoff mix next season

Wait to see how wemby is health and effectiveness wise before commiting all in?

Don't think they made any serious competitive moves though. More like a couple moves on the edges.
Are they going to extend Fox at the max? 4 years $230m?

Smart + Kispert
for
Murray + Hawkins + 2nds + Matkovic
An exact salary match at 35.5 m. Any chance Wiz go for that?

Did they trade for him not to pay him?
