August 1st. But the return will have to be astronomical at this point as we don't have a realistic avenue for getting out of the tax now and they're missing out on guys who could be had for cheap.

But surely they had an idea of what the market would be prior to extending the date. I guess I just don't understand the point of adding more guaranteed money if they are going to cut him.

They were looking for a deal similar to what the Grizzlies got for eating Iggy. I suspect they had a conversation with Minny regarding a Russell S&T. They probably didn't anticipate the Knicks and Kings spending all their free agency money on role players in the first 24 hours.

Whatever the case may be, it's all sunk costs now. The Cavs would be back in the repeater tax, with no realistic way to get out, and I can't see Gilbert paying $40M for anything that will be offered before the 1st. They should cut him and make a run at Lyles with the taxpayer MLE and then just have a buyout day in August for our guys on expiring deals.

After trading PG, the Thunder went back to recent signees Mike Muscala and Alec Burks and asked if they wanted to change their minds.

Looks like Muscala is staying with OKC, but Alec Burks just signed a vet min deal with the Warriors.

Wonder if they made the same offer to Noel so he could reconsider for the eighth time.

Wouldn't shock me one bit if he backed out, but I think OKC is trying to sell him on starting if Adams gets moved. They would have EBR and would probably resign him if he played well.

That he wasn't actually with the team until after SL started and they didn't want to throw him out there having not participated in any of the training/practices leading up to the SL. It's why the Suns picks aren't playing either.

Wish the league would push back the SL to 2 weeks after the moratorium or adjust the rules so guys that were traded on draft night can be with their new teams prior to the paperwork being filed.

https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed looks pretty updated, with all the pick details from the past round of deals.

Nets pick from Warriors is top 20 protected and a 2nd rounder if not 21-30 that first year.

Grizzlies pick from Warriors is 1-4 then just top 1 protected.

Atlanta paid great looking 2nds to Philly (2020 Atlanta 2nd if 31-55, which it really should be), and best of Atlanta, Charlotte, Brooklyn 2023 2nd.

Lots of small print details

Thanks, was waiting for this to be updated.

Interesting, they have the Denver pick to OKC, but not the protections, and don't have the picks from the PG deal. Not official yet?
