When Detroit takes Ivy and some how gets John Collins and Ayton. That rebuild gonna sky rocket !

Cade/Ivey/Bey/Collins/Ayton, for anything else, would be very exciting for Detroit.

I'm putting the line at they get 1 of the three. Go for your overs, will make $ on the under. And even more so the 1 exactly neither side wins so I pocket the cash

I will say I think debates might go differently around here if we starting dropping betting links for some of the positions people hold so dear (myself included).

Feels like the beginning of a prolonged exit from Brooklyn for KD

Nets won't budge. If Kyrie wants more than the taxMLE he needs to opt-in so that the Nets can trade him somewhere.

I guess KD will see what the Nets can get in return for Kyrie before deciding if he'll ask for a trade. He'll have a harder time forcing himself somewhere given that he's locked up for 4 years.

Sure.

Kyrie wants more guaranteed money. What if we said Kevin Durant wasn't clueless? Could that get more money? If not KD will randomly demand a trade to a random location so now Kyrie can use full leverage. Whatever he was doing before was half leverage, okay? Give more money please?

Where can he go to ring chase while at the same time being paid the max.

Most of those teams can't hard cap themselves, so that means Kyrie would have to pick up his option, get traded there & then extend (up to 4 years with 5% raises).

Yeah totally agree KD is using his "leverage" to get Kyrie paid, and also Kyrie would opt in if you make him, so you should just pay him. I just thought the way Shams put it was really odd.

I'm not sure that is clearer. Pay me or maybe these teams pay you?

Rockets got the Brooklyn picks until 2027...that's pretty sweet.

I mean, Nets gotta pay Kyrie. You can't afford losing both even if u can find a decent haul since KD has a monster trade value.

I will save it for another day, but I have a trade where Houston gives BKN picks back to facilitate a KD trade (been done on here), and then OKC swoops in to give the Rockets their picks back to get the thing Houston got.

Please… #11 can bring a star…

I think that deal is a bit too rich for Memphis. I think you are looking at like 22, 29, future 2nd for 11 and two of Burks/Noel/Kemba. I don't think we give up Brooks on top of all that though a Brooks inclusion is very possible in whatever version does potentially happen just because the Knicks have asked about him the last couple offseasons and clearly like him.

Sounds messy but in theory OKC getting the asset that the team getting Durant is paying ?

My bad, I thought you were talking about KD as he will leave if Kyrie does.

Hart/Gordon/filler/ #7 + a few future 1sts is a pretty damn solid package for KD that would be hard to beat by any team KD could be traded and immediately contend on.
