WHAT?!

But I think Winslow is a solid buy-low for someone. Actual healthy offseason to trying and get things heading in the right direction could be underrated.

According to Stein, the Mavericks were initially expected to wait to see if Kawhi Leonard gave any indication that he was thinking about leaving the Clippers. However, the team has moved off of those plans, says Stein. That’s probably a signal that Leonard is unlikely to depart Los Angeles.

That doesn't seem so much as confident about Kawhi returning to the Clippers as it is he told the Mavericks he is not going there.

I have been told by a very good source that the first issue became Kawhi was unhappy with the Clippers medical staff, because he felt that they, early on, misdiagnosed and underplayed the extent of this knee injury.

No way do the Knicks give up that many picks. After all we’ve been thru with that over the years, if we aren’t guaranteed a Nets style big 3, I don’t think we’re gunna even consider destroying our future again.

I think that is a very real possibility. Could also see him going somewhere where he thinks he could get more playing time.

Most reasonable fans expected it, the team has always loved Graham's leadership and was never going to pay both him and Monk. That is especially the case when the team has drafted LaMelo and Bouknight in back to back drafts.

It wouldn't be smart cap management to sign him to a deal, his cap hold, had he been offered the QO, would have prevented the use of cap space. I imagine there are plans to sign someone in free agency with that space.

Jazz are waiving Matt Thomas (unguaranteed).

Was only vet min anyway and will need to be replaced, but I wonder if this goes back to the rumours this past season that Quin wanted defenders while Dennis Lindsey (now out) insisted on adding more shooters. Guess we'll see who gets the spot.

Bobby Marks is saying Leonard could've made more money by opting in and then extending. I have to assume that, at a minimum, the Clippers wouldn't commit to a max extension with him rehabbing?

This year's Batum....I would definitely gamble on him for the TMLE

I'd consider offering Winslow the Jazz taxpayer MLE if they can't land a more sure thing (namely Batum). Maybe not quite the whole thing, as I'd like to use it to give Butler 3 years as a 2nd rounder as well.

Since we're talking about him, Houston Chronicals Johnathan Feigen (probably most plugged in guy there is with the rockets) said the rockets will be interested in bringing Winslow back to his hometown. He also reiterated the Theis interest, but oddly specifically mentioned acquiring him via TPE which means S&T

Why the interest in Theis? Are they trying to win more now?
