It's not that Lowry is worth draft picks. I just don't see Toronto helping out Miami by taking back Dragic.
If the positions were reversed, how would Miami feel about taking back Hood and Baynes?
Well, Precious is worth more than Hood or Baynes (if you don't want him, I'm sure you can cash him out somewhere), and the Raps are also trying to do right by Lowry.
I don't think it's that bad. All Lowry has to say is "my first choice is Miami...but my second is New York" and there goes Toronto's leverage in a puff of smoke. So in such an instance it's not about what they can squeeze out of the Heat: the Raps can either take the Miami package or nothing. So Miami only has to beat nothing.
