Agreed. Is New Orleans still in or is Sato their stopgap guy? Is Dallas still in? I think if they send out WCS/Burke they can fit their signings into exceptions and just have the cap space to do it. Of course that costs them the full MLE and the Richardson TPE so hopefully if Dallas is in they are insisting on Powell.

Who else might want him?

Sato can't be the big get for Zion this summer, so that would be interesting. Jake Fischer on Spaces just said Dallas was the most common name he's heard around the league, but Toronto reporters are doubting the Raptors like Precious Achiuwa enough to wipe out $20M in cap space for Dragic. End goal seems to be Richaun Holmes to the Raptors somehow.

Have the Pelicans gotten anybody yet? They paid to move off some contracts, lost Ball for absolutely nothing and theyve yet to make a real signing? Honestly dont know what theyre doing

They're getting Sato, Temple, and a 2nd for Ball in a S&T. Temple will be a GREAT vet to have in that locker room with those guys. Sato is a solid steadying vet at the 1-3. Nothing flashy, but it's useful. Especially if Lewis is anywhere close to getting some minutes.

I believe we still have adams 27, Ariza 12 and George hill 10 . Don’t think we can feasibly use all 3 by end of free agency . Maybe some at trade deadline .

This is assuming we don’t use MLE etc cause don’t see us able to sign anyone for that amount.
