It reads like last night or this morning Boston could have got Turner.

i hope nothing serve him right

They are waiving and stretching Batum. Does not look like any type of SNT will happen.

I know people want to blame Ainge for this, but our Pacers fans were telling us for weeks they didn't buy the Hayward interest from the team side. Gordon got his money. Everyone wins but Boston. And frankly if Boston is smart and sends a 2nd to get a TPE, they probably win in the end too.

No. Charlotte doesn't win. Unless Hayward was really held back in Boston and explodes and stays healthy which is doubtful.

Well yeah Charlotte losing is a given.

If Ainge did not want Turner and McDermott then that is his choice. Business sense and cap worries, it makes plenty of sense. Just seems strange on the about face of two or three weeks ago when Ainge announced he was not concerned with payroll.

No my guess is Ainge would have taken Turner/Doug but that Indy didn't want to meet Hayward's requirements.

This should turn into a deal where Hayward goes to Charlotte, Horford goes to Boston, and Batum goes to OKC.

Boston pivoting to Millsap now that they have the full MLE is a good one--though I had been holding out hope for Dallas. Of course Dallas is going to do something stupid like Boogie so....

This makes the most sense, Turner is a perfect compliment to Tatum/Brown/Smart IMO and fills a major hole on Boston's roster:

Walker/Smart/Brown/Tatum/Turner

I like that better than brining Hayward off the bench and having Teiss and your center.

Jeff Green's 10th team in 11 years is Massenburg/Jimmy Jackson levels journeyman stuff.

it may even be that S&T rumors with Indiana were brought out ad hoc by his agent to persuade teams with cap space to raise their offer for Gordon. And Charlotte fell for it.

DA with a piece suggesting that the Wall issue is with Beal. And that if they can't trade Wall it might push them to finally taking offers on Beal.

What a mess.

I do believe we were discussing the friction between the two of them on this board all last year only to be told it was nothing

AD and Ingram are still the best free agents that haven't signed, but they are locked to stay. So Bogdan and Ibaka are now practically the best players available. Still a ton of signings to be made.

Rondo, KCP, Milsap, Saric, Baynes, Hassan, Noel and then another tier with Teague, Jackson, Rivers, Bazemore, Robinson, MKG, Melo, Morris, Tristan, Gasol, Cousins.

Please feel free to add but this list is getting really short.
