For those of you that are wondering what I'm talking about: https://www.deseret.com/2000/2/25/19492812/deadline-comes-goes-with-one-measly-trade-br-knicks-deal-for-clippers-taylor-falls-through

Kabengele to the Kings being the only move before the deadline would be hysterical.

Well the thunder have already made two trades themselves so it should beat that.

This seems pretty heavy a return for Lowry here to an outsider. 2019 FRP(Thybulle), two 2020 FRP's(Green and Maxey), 2021 FRP, 3 decent second rounders and an expiring Johnson contract. Also Toronto would have to open up three roster spots for such this lopsided move.

Yea this is ridiculous. Sixers aren’t trading for Harden.
Thybulle will not be in the deal.
Maxes and a frp that’s it.

Thought I'd mention that Dallas is happy to be a 3rd team for Danny Green, but it's 2 2nds, not 2 2nds and Josh Green. Toronto gouging everyone a bit on that deal.

Herro, Olynyk, Iguodala and Harkless for Lowry and Powell?

Miami would use the roster spots on LaMarcus Aldridge and some other useful veteran off the buy out market.

A George Hill to Philly deal is kinda weird because OKC can’t take back any of Green, Ferguson, or Poirer

Yeah it definitely makes things tougher. I'd guess it'd be something like Mike Scott to OKC, Bradley to someone like Charlotte, and Hill and maybe Muscala to the Sixers. Picks added as necessary.

Danny Green is going to Dallas. No wait, James Johnson can't go back to OKC. Danny Green is going to Miami, oh no Trevor Ariza can't go back to OKC.

Wonder if we could get Maxey by sending a future FRP (GSW pick probably won't be enough, maybe LAC 2022)

I think this would only come up as part of a bigger trade; i.e. Powell to Philly with the pick going to Toronto.

Just spitballing here, but maybe OKC gets Philly 2021 1st (currently 29) and the 76ers get pick OKC 2021 2nd (currently 40)

Not the highest quality source, but not Arye Abraham level bad either.

Listening to Amick's podcast that was recorded Monday late night and had some random notes: (I'm half listening so do not take as a full source, it's on the Athletic NBA Show):

IIRC said Denver really values the young guys.

Gordon's market is weird, Orlando has him assigned a lot of value and doesn't know if he's traded, seemed like it got hung up w/ Houston on him getting an extension w/ a trade.

Kings really value Bagley....like were trying to use him to get Collins.

Houston trying to really value Dipo but teams not following that.

I'm kinda half listening but those were some notes that I gathered.

I read Lowry wants to be paid 25M/y at age 35 and 36.

If I'm not wrong, here is te full list of players earning more than 15M/y at that age:

1. LBJ
2. Chris Paul
3. Al Horford (future cut )
4. LMA expiring (soon to be cut...i'm joking :D )

I don't think the sixers are going to make the same mistake 2 times in 3 years.

But yeah, if a writer won’t put their actual full name on their Twitter, they’re pretty much guaranteed to be a dung beetle just rolling poop everywhere and seeing where they can leave traces.

Step 1) Follow credible rumors
Step 2) Post your favorite 20 ideas, borrowing from already rumored players, and label all of them done before anyone else
Step 3) Wait and see how close you got building off Woj and Sham
Step 4) Delete all the bad misses
Step 5) Repost the ones you got closest on as proof you are an insider with knowledge
