I think Pistons throw a offer in here as they are desperate going in to the new arena. How far off is Harris and 12?

I may be a little extra touchy about this because of the recent history of my team, but let the Pacers fans alone. Calling people out makes the board extra contentious, and it's contentious enough as it is.

You probably dont remember how he and other 2-3 Pacers fans were rude for Lakers fans in PG13 discussion (since WojBomb in february). Its not about entire Pacers fanbase - most of them were normal and we had discussion with arguments.

So yes i wait for basketballwacko2 reaction ;)

You want my reaction, "bannible words deleted!" How's that for you skippy!

- The Pacers believed and drafted you

- Pacer fans have always rooted and adored you as a Pacer.
- You have gotten national TV commercials and on the cover of video games.
- WHEN YOU BROKE YOUR LEG during Olympic Trials and the Pacers supported you.
- They paid you MAX salary for sitting out the following season for an Olympic injury AND the team/fans supported you.

These guys for the most part (there are exceptions) dont give a crap about the fans. Portland went through this a couple years ago. It sucks.

Let's face it 90% of NBA players are Narcissistic Scum bags. That's why they have 11 kids with 11 different females and smoke dope and 1/2 of them end up broke 10 yrs after they leave the game.

OKC fans supported Durant too... Management has the right to trade or cut players at any time. Players should have the same right to move on. Unfortunately it is the fan that gets the shaft in these situations

It's fair but pistons would be fools to do that. If PG has no allegiance to the Pacers he certainly won't be sticking around Detroit.

I would try it we got a brand new arena downtown next season, his best friend Reggie and who knows what could change if we could get to the ECF or something which would be a possibility as it would be a decent enough roster too.

while many teams can make intriguing offers to Indy, Mintz is going to be behind the scenes telling teams not named LA (and maybe 1 or 2 others) that Paul is definitively not going to stay hence creating reluctancy to move anything offer value this making a package from LA (without DLO/BI/#2) seem more valuable.

Raptors should be able to put together a decent rental offer:

Norman Powell
Jonas Valanciunas
#23
2019 1st Round Pick (TOR)

Lowry / Joseph / VanVleet
DeRozan / Wright
George / Carroll / Caboclo
Ibaka / Siakam
Poeltl / Nogueira

Sign a couple undrafted free agents and try to make a run at LeBron.

What if Paul George decides to sell his soul to the dark side of the force? That'd be GSW for most non W's fans.

Come on PG, give GSW a verbal commitment that you're willing to join Curry and KD long term and the W's will make Indy happy by giving them Klay who wants to be the premier player on a team.

Curry/Livingston
George/McCaw/Jabari Brown (W's d Leaguer)
Durant/Iguodala
Green/West/Ojeleye (a bought 2nd round pick from Philly, they have so many of them after all)
Zaza or McGee or maybe both/D Jones

Add another ring chasing vet or an undrafted rookie. Let the title reign continue.

I think almost every reasonable team is represented... But I'll go with Chicago. I don't think it's reasonable they'd trade Wade though they should..so

Rondo, Payne and or Valentine, 16, and a future first?

Have to start Wade at PG or George at PF, but just stagger their minutes at the 2/3 as much as possible. Sign a MLE point guard and hope for the best

Real crushing moment when your franchise player quits on the organization.

At least PG13 gave them a heads up and now the Pacers will be able to get some return. Trust me the best thing they can do for both sides is to trade him as soon as possible. Last thing you want is for this situation to drag out and become toxic.

I think the NBA would have to step in at that point to be honest. It's just not good for the sport.

A championship/all star/Olympic SG isn't a good return for George who doesn't want to be a Pacer?

Reggie Miller 2.0 for Indy.

CJ and Damian have been reaching out to PG since the season ended. Neil Olshey and Paul Allen can demonstrate their commitment to the core our out team - while moving salary that is critical to our off season.

I would send the 15 and 26 to Indy (maybe a future 1st protected) - with Moe Harkless and Allen Crabbe. both signed for Multi years (or Meyers Leonard if the Pacers prefer his midwestern roots). If PG13 is a one year rental - we are better prepared to react with the cap space his acquisition saves us. But the Blazer get a year to see (and show) what they could do with a bonifide super star added to the mix. And the teams success and relationships Dame, CJ and PG could development might keep us in the mix when Paul becomes a Free Agent.

Long Shot, but it would be terrific to finally get a super star.

I wouldn't feel so nauseous if it did not feel so damn reasonable.
