No, I don't think so. The original deal is far more preferable. The smaller deals this season would be easier to move if that's the direction the Jazz want to go and Kuzma's contract is $40MM less than Dame's the following season.

I actually think Kuzma is so unbelievably bad that Dame has more potential value. If he comes back in 26-27 and is still a 20-24ppg scorer he'd actually be playable. Kuzma really isn't an NBA caliber player, IMO.

Or possibly include Charlotte.... Send Knecht to the Hornets for #33 & #34.
Lakers take 1 of the seconds and send the other to Portland
