Jones is a much better athlete than Aminu and a better finisher around the rim. He is not a terrible fit--Portland has a ton of spacing which opens up cutting lanes for Jones, along with a great passing big man in Nurcic.

Great fit.

This must just mean MPJ is expected to have a much bigger role this year. Still a mistake by Grant in my opinion though.

I think these teams are taking to heart that contract are only 80% of their true number the next year or two.

Think they had to go to $16 millions per year because of non-bird rights or lose him. He has to kiss his lucky stars Knicks gave him that contract. But 4 years? Wouldn't 1-2 years suffice?

I'm still surprised that the reported Indy Hayward offer is McBuckets and Turner for Hayward and that Ainge wants Warren instead of McBuckets. I thought for sure Lamb would be the filler and that a minor incentive may need to be added on Boston's side. I foresee crow in my future.
