Detroit says hell no, We trade our starting SF for decent player in Garcia and a mid 2nd!? makes no sense especially since we'll have no one to play SF

Garcia is expiring so it's not like he's staying for long.
Detroit is rebuilding (from what I understand) and is far from complete. They could be looking at a good pick in the draft with a bunch of promising SF's coming into the league. With that $6m off the books the Pistons are looking at $24-$25m in cap space.
Dammit...:
I've got Nurkic fever now.

I think it's a good trade for DET and SAC but I think ORL says no.
Evans is a major disappointment and ORL would have to give him a huge paycheck to keep him after 1-year. After that rookie year he hasn't shown jack.
I think they would prefer to keep Affalo and his decent contract, even knowing that Evans has a higher ceiling.
KOBT vote - NO (just the ORL part is missing IMO)

Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

sigh, Afflalo was not the centerpiece for the Howard deal, the picks, Harkless and Vucevic were. hence the start of the tank and go young movement.
A report came out, though, that they REALLY wanted Afflalo. That's the only reason Denver was in the deal.
what report?

Not a fan of it really, although I wouldn't mind adding Prince somehow. I don't think we should give up on Reke just yet.

Detroit is not giving away Prince for a 2nd round pick. He has been playing really well even on a **** team. He is worth more than that.
Make it Prince + Maxiell for Garcia and Thompson.

We'll more than likely amnesty CV next season so that will give us 30+ million in expiring. why do we need that much in expiring. just because we are sucking right now doesn't mean we drop our productive players for 2nd round pick and filler.
