Still trying to figure out why Aldridge is up that high... Normally I can at least see an argument's merit a little, but I just don't see it with Aldridge.

Love's hurt, bad timing, that's gonna send him way lower than he deserves. Maybe even entirely off the list.

V: Rondo
Still an extremely valuable asset. Rare defense/passing skills.

N: Curry
Elite shooter, solid passer, and even solid defender this year. If it weren't for that ankle, he'd be on the list already IMO

Yes. But I, for one, need Curry to stay healthy a full season before feeling comfortable voting for him. Otherwise he's just a PG version of Bynum and unlike Bynum he's locked up for a a bunch of years now. Too much risk for me to vote for him right now, especially considering how deep this PG class is.

Gotta say, I think I'm done with these votes. My reason for being here is to get a feel for why some players are valued how they are, and looking through the #11 thread, I saw one person - ONE - who gave any reasoning to why LMA was voted for. And really it was only a comparison to Love.

I hope next year people have to at least put some thought into their votes. From the outside, I really don't care exactly who random internet people like. At all. I do care about why they came to that conclusion though, as they could offer up an entirely different way of looking at a player.

Til then though, I'm just going to browse and likely read the same handful of posters who are really carrying this thread/poll by providing analysis and actual thought.

Part of the reason I do not have a poll in this thread, but rather ask people to write in their votes is so that there is discussion. Some people give reasons and some people don't. But at least we get to see who is voting for who and if you want to ask them why, feel free.

Also, I don't think we are just "random people on the internet", we're pretty much a bunch of regulars on there that know each other pretty well. Using your logic, why are you even here on RealGM if you don't care about the opinions of us "random people"?

I realize this thread is rather meaningless in the grand scheme of things (as is pretty much any message board or post we put on here), but there is a market for it, and if it brings in even slightly more traffic to the board I think it's worth doing and worth us patronizing.

Also.. thinking back.. there's been plenty of discussion in these threads.. maybe not so much this particular one at #12, but I think there has been healthy discussion along the way.

If you were simply unhappy with the direction of the thread and you dont care about other's opinions then conversely you wouldnt expect us to care about yours and so you wouldnt need to make this big annoucement that you are leaving the thread.

Take it all for whats it worth and participate when you feel like you have something you want to add. I think most of us respect your opinions and while you will find yourself disagreeing with the rest of us clowns from time to time I think most of the regs put thought and effort into their posts. Dont just take your ball and go home because things arent going your way. You have something to contribute.
