Raps should stay away from this deal. This is not the same Amare. I even liked our Jermaine O'neal trade back in the day better than this one.

I don't see Masai doing such a deal. He rarely trades for injury-prone players.

I would much rather have Boozer who has 1 and a half knee left, versus a quarter of a knee with Amare.

Pass for the Raps because the Knicks can't trade their #24 pick this year (thanks to Masai, they owe their 2014 pick to the Nuggets from the Melo deal, so they wouldn't be able to trade this year's pick unless they acquire another one).

NY would draft whoever the Raps want at #24, then they could make the trade as that point you wouldn't be trading a pick, but the draft rights to whoever.

He did trade for Gallo :D .

I don't think the Raps could get Boozer, at least without adding value. CHI would take HBAP from Brooklyn over Bargs.

We do save some money but its not enough to really help us all that much. Our cap number would drop from 76+ million to 71+ million this year and from 76+ million next year to 73+ million.

But yea. Overally not really a good deal for us unless T-Rob really blows up. He's more likely to be a bust than a superstar.

Yeah I guess I would take the chance.

Not me. Haven't seen enough of T-Rob over his first 2 seasons to justify the risk.
