"So I think at some point we'll need to balance that out, try to get a little more size, a little more frontcourt scoring and rebounding." McDonough said Wedneday on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

Frontcourt scoring and rebounding perfectly describe Kanter, so Suns looks like a good trade partner.

And the Jazz need a PG that replaces Burke (i hope Lindsey can send him with Kanter) as a bench scorer. Maybe the perfect role for Thomas again. Would be nice to know, if he is happy in Phoenix.

IT for Kanter makes sense, than hopefully Phoenix can just retain the Dragic and Bkedsoe duo

I think this is a bit of an overpay SF... IT and Plum should do it...probably more than do it.

Yea for some reason I thought Kanter was signed for longer than he is, that's why I added the pick. Nvm, IT + Plumlee should be more than enough.

IT is actually the perfect kind of guy for Utah, he's a major upgrade over Burke and Favors and Gobert can mask his defensive problems.

This deal makes a ton of sense.

Perk, Lamb, PJ for Kanter, Novak

Posted it two days ago and Jazz fans generally liked it.

Hawks would offer Mack, Scott and Antic and a 2017 1st(MIN) and two 2015 2nd rounders for Kanter.

why would Toronto ever do that? Kanter isn't a shot blocker and is about to become a RFA. he doesn't offer anything we need now and offers little long-term value beyond becoming a contributor off the bench. With Amir Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas, Patrick Patterson and James Johnson all in the rotation, there is little room for Enes Kanter on the Raptors.

Oh wow. Thats incredibly far off. I'm shocked you had Philly adding incentive to a Embiid Kanter swap, but even the bare basis of that wouldn't fly.

Well I just threw idea out there. Gives Sixers a young but more NBA seasoned big man at 22 years old. Perhaps a straight up swap makes more sense. I thought Embiid would have lost trade value based on the fact he's missed all season.

It was known he would miss the season when he was draft. Now that someone else paid him to do nothing all year its arguably raised his value since there will be no waiting

injuries in the first year or coming in are no joke, but we have to remember embiid was competiting to be the #1 pick, but that being said, does anyone else remember injury derailing Blake Griffin's first year? or Julius Randle this year? Embiid should be good moving forward, and the above poster is right, now that he is going to be off injury, his value couldnt be higher

This is a ton to give up for the third most effective big on a terrible team... especially one that is entering restricted free agency, has teams asking questions about his "entourage", and allows a roughly 60% shooting percentage at the rim, good for the bottom 10% of bigs in the NBA. He'd fit nicely beside Ibaka in OKC, but to contribute to a true winning situation, I think he better be situated beside a real solid defensive PF.

Most of the offers so far seem like significant over pays to me.

Yeah, some of these trade ideas are giving up way too much for Kanter. Remember, he's a free agent next year, and bigs like him who put up decent numbers but aren't good defensively generally get overpaid.

Scott would be a very good fit to the jazz and shelvin mack can't be any worse than trey burke. I doubt your GM do it though.
