How did I know the Kings would be the team mentioned, lol? I don’t think so, but ‘auction’ might not be the right word, as he has negative value. It’s what the Wolves would give up to move him to whoever

Get outta here with that negative value BS. He's 23 years old with a career 19.7ppg production.

Pshah.

There will be a much better market for Wiggins after teams strike out in free agency.

I don't think the OP would ever happen. If anything, without Butler, Wolves will try and recover some value for a showcased Wiggins. And if a team is truly rebuilding, no need to trade Wiggins now -- he has 1 less year than Towns. Take the gamble he improves, and as big contracts keep getting handed out and years tick off the Wiggins contract -- hope he improves trade value -- and then trade him with any value as expiring contract (still 2 years of Towns).

If Butler was staying, trade Wiggins for Batum. Batum fits Butler better and MJ can take the bigger upside gamble with Wiggins.

Hey, Rob Pelinka. Would you guys like to get in on the Wiggins and Butler talks? We like Kuzma, Hart, and Ball.

(Psssst. Lebron. Hey. This would make you guys title contenders. Think on it.)

You wouldn't trade a 32 year old Gay for 23 year old Wiggins as a semi rebuilding Spurs?? I think we are playing in different stadiums...

Not given their contracts. You adding picks to make that swap?

Then Thibs, why you trying to get rid of him as a rebuilding team?

How can I put this... I'm a big believer in Wiggins and his immense potential. However, forces within the organization are moving this direction.

Again, looking for a 1st and to dump Dieng. I see none of that here. I'm not just gifting Wiggins.

Than he'll stay in Minnesota, for sure. Any team taking on that contract would need to be compensated.

The Hornets aren't going to trade Batum as long as Tony Parker is on the team. If all 3 suck again this season I could see a swap happening next summer.

The Hornets haven't made great scouting decisions since MJ took over, but the team usually does right by its players. If a big trade is made it almost always happens in the summer.

Mozgov's contract is a sticking point. If you'll toss in an Orlando 1st (top 14, 12, 10, 2 seconds) We'll think aobut it.

I would test the Suns and see if I could extract some shorter deals for Wiggins and hope they see a Booker, Wiggins and Ayton core as something to build with...

You want $40m in expirings, which requires 3 of my starters, a 1st, and you want me to eat Dieng’s deal?

Go ahead and lose my number Tom.

No one in their right mind would take both Wiggins and Dieng unless the Wolves were adding some serious compensation. Orlando makes a lot of sense for Wiggins to me, but not for expirings. I like the Wiggins for Fournier+??? deal that has been floated before.

I think Fournier plays well off of a guy like Wiggins. I do like the Magic in this scenario because even if they had the cap space, the best player they would realistically sign is a player in Wiggins tier of potential and those guys tend to all get overpaid in free agency.
