DeRozan is an overall better scorer but he's not as good a fit with the Nuggets as Harris is. And while I'm not super attached to Plumlee, he is the only backup 5 the Nuggets have at the moment. This trade isn't what the Nuggets need.

Dreaming. Celtics arnt giving up enough value to get lonnie or mpj

:o Neither one of those players has much value. Walker wasnt even a lottery pick, and spent his whole year going back and forth to the g league.

Wouldnt trade lonnie straight up for jaylen... not even close

The problem is, I don't think ORL wants to move Mo. He's a luxury as long as Nic is around, but Mo is clearly their long-term future at C. Also, the Magic aren't a perfect squad, but I don't see Jaylen giving them anything they don't already get with Evan and Terrence.

I hope you're right

the team as constructed is good on defense, we need offense.

Smart is a disruptor, but bad offensive player and will get in zone where he can shoot a team out of a game.

without question he can , but the prize is Brown and you have no PG so Smart fills a need for now

C said he values Walker more highly than Brown (on which I and I believe the Spurs agree). So adding in more value from the Spurs AND insisting they help pay the Pacers for some reason is kinda insulting. If Brown is a max player to anyone, he should be one to Boston. If Boston trades him because they aren't willing to pay him the max, then it's lunacy to think they would get another team's best prospect and first and whatever it would take to get a guy Indy doesn't want to trade. I would understand Boston fans rejecting Brown trades because they want to keep him, but they aren't going to be able to squeeze other teams for assets. Brown simply doesn't have that big of a market.

I like Brown. I would have been okay with that rumored Leonard-for-Brown/SAC pick trade. But I think he's at best in the same tier as Walker in terms of potential. That he is currently pretty good is why I would be down with getting him in a deal for DeRozan. But I don't think he's big enough to move Walker or Samanic for. I'd rather dance with who brought me.

Brown is a prize, but also needs a gigantic contract next summer. And Fultz seems to be healthy, so we will see what he looks like this year.

Like seriously. Brown is neither the missing piece of a title contender or a main rebuilding piece, so I don't understand why the Spurs would be desperate enough to trade their future for.

You could sell me on Murray, Walker, Brown, Samanic, Poeltl as the future starting lineup. If there were a trade thread where the Spurs gave up DeRozan, Gay and Aldridge and ends up getting Brown and other future value back, I'd at least find it intriguing. But I'm not trading Walker just to still have too many guards and not enough PFs.

I'm completely fine with

Dejounte/White
Lonnie
Keldon
Samanic
Poeltl

Would love to find a way to turn Derozan/LMA into Bamba + either Bridges though
