I could definitely see that--particularly if they say we only worry about the other LA team and we want a guy for Kawhi. OTOH that's now arguably your 4 best players all arguably best at PF(AD should be a center, but he wants to be a PF so...). THJ provides some more balance and obviously less injury risk which might be important on a shallow team.

I'm personally not one to bet on somebody career shooting year to carry over. KCP has been decently consistent the last 3 years spacing. THJ would be taking SG away minutes from DG while losing KCP PG defense. I don't see the trade as a net positive for the Lakers.

THJ is fine if LAL can get him for the non rotation players plus a first. Would allow them to add the depth.

Yep. this package is much better than 3 way deal for the Bulls. rather cut Dallas for this package.

I think they would want assurances that they will be lakers before they opt in. I don't know what the bulls would want with Mcgee, Maybe they could route him to Portland. Bradley could sub for Levine,
