Man, that RoLo opt-out is paying off in spades for Milwaukee. They dropped another ~$4M under the apron in a heartbeat...

Great trade for both sides. No point in the Kings paying two SGs big money, so they get a young guy instead, and Double-Bogey is a guy I've wanted to see go to Milwaukee for a long time.

Wild. Crazy. Wonder if his contract details will slip out? Hard to evaluate this without them.

Based on salary matching the biggest deal he could have signed is 4y/~$77,400,000. Unless some other moving pieces are unaccounted for.

No. According to the new CBA partially guaranteed contracts only count for their guarantee for salary matching purposes. Means that the Bucks fully guaranteed his contract before trading him.

Jrue / ?
Bogdan / ?
Middleton / Thanasis
Giannis / ?
BroLo / ?

Going to be very rough when Coach Bud refuses to play his stars more than 32 min per game in the playoffs. Thanasis going to be playing 1 on 5.

Are you sure, talking with lots of Kings fans relieved think we don't have to pay him. That's going to annoy some peeps.

I don't even think we need him to be anything special. He's going to be a nice piece but we should just be bottoming out and adding a top pick next year.

This feels better than the Holiday deal and I loved Donte. The timing of the announcement is very odd though.

I'm in the same boat. Bogi was my boy but DDV is a nice, young piece and we avoid making our cap situation any worse.

Wow, you're a mod now.

Yeah been a mod on the Kings board for a little bit now. We've still got the fantasy league going too if you ever wanted to join back in. Still have like 8-9 of the original guys.

Yes he’s correct here. It’s fully guaranteed to count towards the match and remains so

Ro Lo comes back for the minimum and Danny Ainge complains in 3...2...1..?

Not 100% sure, but I don't think it's all-or-nothing: Milwaukee just has to guarantee at least enough to make the trade work.

How much that is depends on how much Bogdanovic is going to get.

That league was so fun, but I get too obsessed with fantasy, which is why I stopped. Awesome to hear it's still going though. Who's won the last few seasons?

This is technically true but has never been done in the CBA yet and I doubt would be ratified. It's much more likely that Ersan was fully guaranteed and that is why Justin James had to be included.

Wow, what a night.

Can't wait to see what the rest of the bench ends up looking like. I don't think it'll be all that difficult to fill it out with the MLE, BAE, and minimum contracts for guys that want a chance at a title, but we'll see.
