Vote: Russell. While Blake might be on his final legs and would be put down if he were a horse, but he's going to be an essential expiring contract and won't nag nor disrupt anything if he were benched.

Nominate: Buddy Hield

I'm between Blake and Wiggins, both of them suck but Wiggins sucks longer.

Wiggins.

Lots of horrible contracts. Tough choice between Blake, Wigs, DLo, even Draymond.

Gotta go with Blake for now due to current play with DLo being close second.
Nominee: Rudy (he's good but that contract is... ugh)

Vote Blake
Nominee Kemba Walker
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

I’m choosing Wiggins over Griffin because of his extra year. I also see no pathway for Wiggins to recoup a max deal in his role in GSW. What is he - potential defender, third option who shoots inefficiently? Worse, we have seen him with several different coaches, with several different systems, around youth and around vets (Butler), and with several different roles. We always see the same thing - he plays okay for a little while, then mails in it for weeks at a time. It’s his seventh year - expecting him to suddenly start caring now seems like wishful thinking. He still has a negative BPM, like he has every season in his career. His lack of effort on both ends of the floor will keep him in his traditional spot near the top of every year’s Worst Contracts list.

Aren’t you doing the same thing you accused Warrior fans of doing. THIS YEAR Wiggins is clearly outplaying D’Angelo. Wiggins has been one of the best wing defenders in the league this year.

A. This is for #5, not #2
B. I didn’t bring in some block vote of my team’s fans to spoil the results
C. I don’t know where “best wing defender in the league” comes from, but even if that were true - how much does the nba pay defenders?
D. This is a poll on Trade Value, not “who’s playing better this year.” We have years of evidence with Wiggins as one of the three worst contracts in the NBA, and we are projecting the value of his contract which runs for several years.

I am not going to vote for Wiggins early because he was on the Wolves. I am also not going to avoid voting for him at 5 because he was on the Wolves either. The Trade Board is supposed to be a place where we set aside team biases, not try to justify moves our front office did. We have fan boards for fans to tell other fans how great all their players are.

Lastly, I will say that if you honestly feel Russell is the #2 worst contract in the nba, and that Wiggins defense makes him worthy of a max deal and he’s not going to have the monthlong lapses in effort that we have seen year after year, you should vote your heart. I will do the same. I am no fan of Russell, and he won’t get protected from my vote because he is a Timberwolf.
