Houston's new GM is doing a great job so far.

Wood signing, Covington trade was great; WB/Wall trade was fine; Harden was ok (most will disagree) and Tucker trade is pretty good

Also Kevin Porter Jr. was a nice pick up for them.

Still hope they will lose their pick though

So to be clear here the picks as it sits today is #26 for #33. Then they pushed the 22 pick to 23? I had Augustine as awful money.

7 spots as of today and pushing a pick back 1 year for Tucker and Kuruks? I woulda asked for House, but this is the kind of shifty move a team like Milwaukee needed to make to improve the front court. Watch out for the Tucker resurgence.

So that's a benefit that I missed but I still don't like. Augustin has been decent enough and he's signed for a few years which for a team with as little flexibility as the Bucks strikes me as a good thing. The first round swap this year is a little much for Tucker for my taste especially since you're not just sending back useless expirings.

Augustin has been legitimately awful, has a NG'd third year, and no this doesn't get us out of the tax.

Has Augustin really been that bad? I only watched a couple games and he seemed like a serviceable backup

He looks like a 6 year old any time he gets inside the three point line. Just physically overmatched with size, quickness, speed. It's ugly. The offensive spark he's supposed to provide hasn't been there at all.

Bucks are chasing the chip for sure. Houston did well. Keep piling up the picks!

Love everything Houston GM has done pretty much; this very much included.

Panic buy from Milwaukee after Nets Harden trade and Sixers (unsustainable) start?

So the rockets basically get to move up a few spots to swap a second for a first whcih will probably happen. The bucks get tucker and their ,2022 first back. And the rockets get an unprotected pick in 2023. Hmmmmmm

So basically the Bucks push the 1st they were already giving up to be 2023 instead of 2022, and are likely dropping 10 spots or so in this upcoming draft to dump Augustin’s bad contract and pick up Tucker/Kurucs. It’s whatever imo, I’m not too high or too low on this.

The Bucks 2022 pick is UNP. Augustin has 7 mill on the books next year, Rockets took on an additional 3 mill this year too.

It's a unique deal, but it's a win win.

The crunch time four of Holiday, Middleton, Tucker, and Giannis can be a monster on defense. I like this for the Bucks.

It appears like a major overpay but in the end it's not THAT bad for the Bucks (still a win for Houston).

Against Green (or Lowry/Ball), Thybulle, Simmons, Embiid. Bet the under folks.

Even if you combined all these guys on one team, I'd still bet the Nets would drop 120 on them. Geesh.

It's going to take an immaculate performance defensively and offensively to knock off the Nets, this is going to be a similar battle Houston had against the KD warriors.

I actually like Kurucs as a sneaky pickup for Milwaukee in this deal. However, I think PJ Tucker may be running on empty at this point, and I don't see why the Bucks would make their 2023 pick unprotected. Also, I thought Augustin was an important rotation player for them.

You liked the Nets ‘assets’ over what the Sixers reportedly offered for Harden?

Unless he pulled one on the Rockets, he's out of the league once his contract is up. I'm happy he was included in the deal.

At least the Bucks can switch and play physical. If they can make their shots and win the boards they have a good chance.

Is Tucker really better than Craig even at this point in their careers? I love the grit and grind he brings, but he seems to be more of a nostalgic idea than an on-floor-value at this point.

I think Giannis at center is the way to go, PJ is a great 4 next to him.

And Houston almost did it... and those Warriors were great on both ends...

No idea who would win, but the world needs this Bucks Nets series
