They're after Aldridge if he's bought out, but now they don't need him.

So is this a precursor trade where Olynyk or Achiuwa goes out.

Yup. Possibly both in a Lowry trade? Guess the money doesn't work without Goran now but, Maybe Toronto wants Precious and Robinson?

Then sign LMA.

Bam - LMA - Bjelica
Butler - Iggy - Ariza
Lowry - Nunn - Herro - Bradley

Thats a pretty good rotation

I have seen absolutely nobody suggest that anytime recently--and nobody pays more attention to Bjelica talk than me.

But Miami just got a good player for free and a roster spot bonus. Dallas absolutely sucks for not offering a future 2nd and taking him.

Monte is the Anti-Vlade.

Take your damn 2nds and throw it in the trash!

JK Chuck. Sorry Dallas didn't get him.

I genuinely think Harkless will have a role on this team for his defense and athleticism but we will see. I think Monte saw it as a better fit + money savings.

I was going off of this one, but I see I read it wrong. You had Hill/Williams having a recent first vlaue (Green), which I still cant say I agree with:

Texas Chuck wrote:Kings trade: Bjelica/Joseph
Kings get: Johnson/Iwundu

Thunder trade: Hill/Williams
Thunder get: Joseph/Josh Green/22 DAL 2nd

Mavs trade: Johnson/Green/Iwundu/22 DAL 2nd
Mavs get: Bjelica/Williams/Hill

Kings fans have told me rather than getting a 2nd for Bjelica since they have so many, they'd rather get off Joseph's gtd money so that's their incentive here.

Thunder give up a couple players worth less than a first and take on a little money next year in order to get a recent 1st round pick wing and yet another pick for Presti's stash.

Mavs take Green who they would hope could be a rotation wing next year with some upside to maybe be a starter down the road to get a guy who can be a rotation wing right now and who is cheap/waivable for 2 more years plus get a couple of veteran bench shooters.

Kings aren't done. They don't have a roster spot to complete this deal

I don't think so either. But we could easily ship Justin James off for free, or even cut Jabari. Don't think the roster spot is much of an indication.

I really like this move.

It’s good money wise and I have always liked Harkless as a role playing guy who does a great three and D job at 2/3/4.

He’s used to the West from his years with Portland and knows his role.

Monty building that bench up now.

Edit: I voted both. Beli gives Miami a piece that fits nicely into their rotation.

I voted Miami the winner here but I wouldn't label Sacramento as losers. I think they did just fine all things considered.

I voted both just based on the idea that Silva fits in the Kings rotation and the bench is upgraded. His toughness is sorely needed. Outside of that, MIA clearly gets the best player here. I’m really happy for them.

Silva has a lot of potential. He just can't seem to stay on the floor. Gets into foul trouble. I love his game though. Please, give him 15-20 minutes a night! I'll be rooting for him!

My familiarity with Silva is kinda lacking. The only things I know are that he hustles, he’s tough, and MIA fans really like him. Is there anything else I’m missing there?

Good rebounder. Like I said, gets into foul trouble. Physical. if he could stay on the floor and develop a midrange game he'd be a better rebounding prime Haslem.

Also voted both. Good trade.

Chris Silva has a good chance to make many King fans happy. He is tough as nails. His only problem is foul trouble.

The winner is obviously Bjelica; goes to a good team and I bet Spoelstra loves him.

Harkless isn't very good but he does fill a short-term need for Sacramento; given the Delon trade and now this, I wonder if they really are trying to stay in range of that play-in spot (which I think they should).

So this begs quesiton:
In adding Bjelica, is Olynyk being packaged with Dragic + Robinson?

Thanks guys. From the description, he seems exactly like what the Kings have been missing. With the assumption that Whiteside is likely being moved, the Kings have Holmes, Bagley (injured), Barnes (SF), and Metu playing the 4 and 5 spots. Woodard and Kabengele will be pushing for minutes. Now Silva and Harkless will be pushing for minutes. It is understated just how bad the frontcourt rotation has been. There has been absolutely no depth. I’m sure Silva is about to be tested by Walton.

No. Iggy + Robinson and Nunn. Think about it; Miami acquired Ariza, too. Every bit the role duplication of Bjelica to Olynyk
