Yeah, that deal had win based bonuses that made it to where if he got traded to a team that didn't win 53 games the season prior, all Nene's likely bonuses converted into unlikely bonuses, which made him count as only the minimum in incoming salary, but the full $10M outgoing. I'm assuming they nailed these down better than they did with that aborted Nene contract?
Bobby Marks said this one is similar but will be accepted and that's the only functional difference I see here (besides optics of a guy obviously heading into retirement signing that deal)
