Maybe dlo to houston for wall as the basis.

Yeah, I like Dlo to HOU for Wall. Not sure where MIN is with the LT, but they may need to include Prince or something.

What is Wall's status? He's not hurt is he? If he plays for Minnesota he'd be a huge upgrade on the court for them IMO.

HOU is trying to lose so D'lo is a perfect fit for them. Watch out NOP!

Dlo is a negative asset at his contract. If I was OKC I might trade cap space for Dlo and a protected first. Probably not though.

I was working on a Wall for DAR and Prince deal. Is it possible for Wall to do what Ty Lawson did a few years ago when he made his final year "ungaranteed?" If possible then let's say Wall gives up $40 million in 2022-23 meaning he could be bought out for $7.3 million then Minn could resign him to a long term deal say 3yrs $40 million with a 4th year partial guaranteed for about $6 million.

Why would John Wall give up a single dime of that money? Zero shot he considers that.

Wall could have a cp2 type resurrection on the wolves.

DLo and KAT for Ingram, Val, Sato.

NOP add a vet guard to steady the ship and a KAT Zion frontcourt should be unstoppable.
Minny moves on from KAT and Ingram is locked up long term.

I got NOP adding more value in that deal. Also, can Val even be traded (extension)?

Not sure Wolves would trade for that package to build around Ingram with Edwards. Again I think a 3rd team needed to provide Wolves rebuild assets (youth/picks).

So maybe this deal waits until after lotto. NOP could add a pick swap (say their 2 for Wolves 4) as simple value filler. Then a 3rd team is pulled in who wants Ingram (more than Towns) for added youth/picks.

From a Knicks perspective I would trade Evan Fournier and Alec Burks for Russell. Need both of them to make the cap math work, although I feel NY could get an expiring + heavily protected 1st for Burks. A lot of contenders could use a guy like him off the bench.

So no offer here. Would the Clippers be interested in him as a souped-up Reggie Jackson?

How much better is Russell than Reggie Jackson? Going by Bang for the Buck, I would rather have Jackson.

Jackson.....$10,384,500......$11,215,260
Russell......$30,013,500......$31,377,750

This exactly

Wall is getting underrated here. The one thing he does is he makes everyone around him better. He prefers to pass. He'd instantly make Towns a better player by the pick & roll.

He is very hard to value and find trades for. I mean, I cant even really say what position he should play, he is not very good at pg and not at sg, so its hard to fit him into a 30m hole in a team

Once trade eligible, I’d consider Josh Hart and Graham for Dlo

Russ, I feel like both Russ and D'lo would be a better fit on their teams once traded

Russ can have a stretch 5 and be the primary ball handler

D'lo can be the secondary ball handler and get a lot of open shots off of Bron and AD

I’d prob do that. We need as much star potential as possible. I think DLo could get back to his Brooklyn form under Thibs n staff.

Maybe he wouldn't but if he wants to play in the NBA again he might have to think about it. If he sits for 2 years because Houston refuses to buy him out and no team will send matching salary he might not play again until 2024.

I prefer to have Simmons in the stand than DAR on the floor.
