I had Keon top 8 in my big board last year and I still like his potential, but this seems like such a bad trade.

Honestly, wouldn't be shocked if this did end up to Luke being dealt since Norman has a big deal aligning with Mook as well.

Portland wanting to clear salary here seems to be the only justification. but I'm sure they could have gotten a second for RoCo and an expiring for Powell anywhere else. They must be high on Keon as well.

Johnson's athleticism and defensive play has never been in question, but since joining the Clips, from summer league to ACCO, his play making has greatly improved.

Justise was also playing well recently.

This also opens up a roster spot, which could be worthwhile.

I think the Clippers won, but I do appear to hate it less for POR than most, assuming they like Keon and view him as equivalent to a later 1st. I have Powell at around neutral value on his contract.

I can’t help but think the Blazers got absolutely fleeced here. Keon Johnson is a good prospect and all, but I don’t see him as nearly a big enough delta between Powell/Roco and Bledsoe/Winslow/2nd. Couldn’t the Blazers have gotten a better return elsewhere? Oh my…

Great freaking job by the Clippers. They looks like they will be a playoff team without Kawhi/PG, but they will be absolutely frightening next year when those guys return.

His jumper just needs consistency, but his facilitation game has greatly improved. He's going to be, at worst, a good defender.
