Durant to Suns: Your take?

Gotta be KD: Suns win. You get a shot at an all-timer like Durant with term on his contract, you pay whatever price.

Burning Bridges: Nets win, getting a haul of picks and a young stud in Mykal.

someone didn't see 4th quarter Theo Pinson.....

I mean they and Denver have to be the favorites as of now.

I think the Dallas pick is more valuable than either LAL pick, and they can probably flip DFS for a first, and Dinwiddie for two seconds at worst. I think that deal allowed them the flexibility to keep Durant barring this kind of offer, now they have the offer, and they can look to move some of the veterans in the offseason for other assets.

Hoping Clips can just snag Dinwiddie for a pair of seconds now

I really like this deal for both sides. The Nets looks decent, but I imagine they could be wheeling and dealing tomorrow to recoup some lost 1sts.

The Suns are all in. That starting lineup looks absolutely killer.

That bench is looking bad bad bad though.

I guess I'm probably underrating that no matter how bad things will look there in 5 years guys will go to LA bc it's LA but I'd bet on them being bad before the Mavs unless you think Luka is leaving

Nets aren't going to just give Dinwiddie away guys. You have to realize that. Doesn't matter if you think he's worth 2 2nds, they can't possible take that.

If that ends up being the WCF, it’s gonna be one hell of a series. The Suns really need one more forward and they are set. Denver is much more well rounded though.

The Western Conference is going to be so rough for the remainder of the year.

Edit: saw PHX got Warren. I guess they’re fine.

Also... They need a follow up deal if Cam, Bridges and Crowder are all going out, no?

It's worth the trouble. It's like a Jedi mind f**k with this trade.

Texas Chuck wrote:this is why we never award paper champions. 12 months ago the Nets had 3 superstars. Now?

Also holy moley.

The Nets have to be the worst run franchise possible. They gamble big and loss big. What have to show for it. Ben Simmons. The true definition of stupid trades deserve stupid prizes.

Now that's out the way. I think most of us figured that with Kyrie left the Nets, KD had to follow. I will admit I was back and forth in my mind. One, due to KD's contract obligation. Second, his injury history. Third, his age. This move is a colossal move the Suns has pull. That's a helleva first move to make for the new owner of the team. The West is winning hard this trade deadline.

This trade is clearly a tremendous amount more than when Rudy Gobert was traded for. Like, it isn’t even close, this is in “most value ever” territory.

I think the move is to trade Ayton for more balanced frontcourt
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change
