This seems like a winner to me.

Pass. Not taking on any extra money for next year for just a single second rounder projected to be around pick 45 in an alleged weak draft.

Although ownership might be cheap and take the $6 million in savings this year I suppose. But then lose almost all of it with the Bertans $5.25 million partial guarantee next year anyway.

Maybe something around Tobias for GH/Pj if we have another deal lined up for Morris picks that took on salary (Murray/grant type of player)

Deal one is a yes.

Deal two no thanks.

What if Harris was rerouted to Det, so you walked away with whatever picks you could get from them, while also getting out of PJs money since maybe you will be giving it to Bridges?
Personally I don’t see us moving Harris at all, so I’m not fighting to try to make it work, maybe we sign him after a buy out and give you some seconds for (insert scrub name here) to say thank you :)

We don't need to get off of PJ to pay Bridges. We have Lowry and Hayward expiring giving us plenty of breathing room. PJ is not getting traded for anything less than a late first or equivalent value player. I know Harris is a good player, albeit overpaid. I can't attribute any value to him though as an expiring rental in a dead season.

I was thinking Mann might might be of some interest.

If TyTy and Garuba needed assets to dump I don't see why Mann or Poku would be positive value. Teams are quicker to lose interest in these late first round guys these days

What if OKC add 1-2 more seconds and/or cash ?

Don’t think we will pony up a protected first.

Poku intrigues me, cut Frank and Thor, replace with 2 young players who have shown more than our other “prospects”, I’d consider it if nothing else exciting was offered.

After ORL sends WCJ, Black, 2 ORL frps to ATL for Murray. (And is suddenly thin at C)…

ORL sends Isaac (non-guaranteed), Fultz (expiring), 2 srps
CHA sends Hayward rental, Nick Richards
* if Isaac gets healthy, CHA wins in a big way…if not, no loss of cap space and a couple srps. Fultz might actually find a new home, backing up Lamelo and even freeing him up a bit at times. CHA’s wings would enjoy running with Fultz…again- no risk audition

LaVine, Morris, and 26 OKC 1st to CHA
Harris to CHI
Hayward and Washington to PHI

Don’t mind this for both. Toppin and Melo would fit well.

With the Hornets set up to be the team with the most cap space to bid on free agents, I don't see the front office absorbing any longterm contracts.

And1 for the title.

The guy I would be interested in from the Hornets is PJ, not Gordo.

The title would be even better if this was a trade designed to get Hayward to Phoenix.

Why would we want him over Hield? When you factor in availability I have Hield as "better."

Only way we see Hayward in Indy is a buyout or next ofdseason. He's not worth giving up value or rotation guys.

Would Orlando have interest? Feels like they could use another playoff scorer to compliment Franz and Paolo and they have a bunch of salaries that can be mixed and matched.

Why the overpay for Murray? Lakers offer is nowhere near this good.

Honestly Anthony Black alone is probably worth more then their entire offer.

Remember Joe Harris was dumped with just 2 2nds.

If you want an actual 1st, you need to be taking much worse salary than $20 Million of DNP's.

Hayward is $32+ million of expiring bad contract dumping potential

There are a couple of deals that could be made for Hayward, but I'm betting he doesn't get moved and will be bought out.

One that might work is GSW sends Wiggins and Moody for Hayward. It needs filler from GSW to make the salary work, but if GS wants out of Wiggins long term deal would they give up Moody and a pick to do that? Or would they just hand on to Wiggins and hope he remembers how to play like the last couple years.

I think Philly might be the best offer if they still want to maintain max cap space, if not they should be going for a bigger upgrade.

Realistically, the Philly offer should be a three team deal where Charlotte eats bad money instead of taking the overpaid expirings. Probably a way to turn Philly’s 2nd(s) and expiring(s) into a first and a two year deal.
