I think Monk is worth more, a bit bigger, bit more pick and roll skills, but yeah definitely not a good sign for his value

An undersized guard who doesn’t play defense isn’t super valuable.

I don't understand anything...now the Hornets need a starting caliber center, who are they after? Could it be Ayton?

The only explanation I can think of (other than a gentleman's agreement Peterson not take Ace Bailey 4) is that the market for C has more scarcity than the market for combo guards. Plus Nurkic can rebound and stretch the floor.

I would have thought the second went the other way, like everyone else here.

Wonder if this means Utah is moving Kessler in another deal and they just acquired the cheapest center they could find.

I think we will either sign Book Lopez or sign-and-trade for Day'Ron Sharpe.

Ready to get crucified.

Ball for gobert? Charlotte culture change overnight. Minnesota gets their pg.

Ball for sabonis?

These players are almost unplayable in the post-season. Bad defenders, not good enough offensively to be the driving force of the offense and you would rather have size for rebounding/defense as your floor spacers.

Great pickup for teams like Charlotte just trying to be better

Strange deal, might be beyond the players like I owe you one, or the very minor difference in salary makes another deal work, which otherwise wouldn't.

Neither are good or worth their contracts, so I dunno.

Hornets started with Cody Martin + Vasa Micić.

Ended with:

Sexton
2026 1st (least favorable of Magic/Grizz)
2030 2nd (more favorable of Jazz/LAC)

We lost Tre Mann for all but 13 games and LaMelo's time missed is public knowledge.

So yeah, we need a vet to step up and just keep the offense in tact through the regular season.

I was very far off on Sexton’s value.

But Kessler/Flip should be getting all of the center minutes? So… Kessler trade?

PLEASE - lets have a bidding war for Ayton as it appears decent C's are scarce. Yes he;s expensive but he is an expiring!
