I think MIL can send value to BOS by offering secondary first round pick swaps in 2028 & 2030. BOS has to better than POR and MIL those years and get to move up. In 2028 there's the SAS swap for BOS as well, but that makes it more likely that the POR/MIL swap result will be better than their resulting pick.

For other teams those swaps wouldn't hold a ton of value, but BOS could conceivably move up a few spots at least in both years. Assuming they stay contending. If they get those and send out 2027 lotto protected, it could end up being not a huge cost.

Kuzma to the Bulls just doesn't make much sense unless he comes with a juicy first round pick and a load of Jerry Reinsdorf special cash considerations. Between Giddey, White and Buzelis there's not enough shots left for Kuzma to stay happy. A non-happy Kuzma is going to be a locker room problem, and nobody in Chicago cares if Patrick Williams makes 11% of the salary cap as long as the tickets sell and the beer is drunk.

An expiring Simons isn’t enough of an upgrade to give up a FRP for, Tyler Smith or Andre Jackson have at it. Bucks are too asset poor to attach value to dumping Kuzma too, simple as that.
