Re: Goga Bitadze to Philly
Regardless of value, the Sixers can't afford to take on salary due to being hard capped at the first apron.

They can move out 3 guys who wont really play:
Walker, Hukporti, Broome, Terry, Watford (1 is already being cut likely for KCP)
Even if Bona is good, need a another guy for when Joel is inevitably out some games
The question is do they want a bigger C like Goga or a more mobile C

Hukporti doesn't belong in that group. He was a guy the current front office targeted. Doesn't mean he'll work out of course. Two different issues. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they mentally had him above Bona going into camp.
It's not just KCP that needs a cut. It's going to be Terry (non-guaranteed) almost assuredly and probably Watford (250k) to fit both him and LeBron. Then they run with 14 on the roster again until the deadline.

Philadelphia upgrades at backup center. Bitadze/Bona is ... okay enough as a rotation to win games when Embiid is out.
Orlando saves money this season and gets some seconds to sell. They can choose to look at Barlow and/or Broome or just waive Barlow for roster space.
The 76ers aren't going up to the 2nd apron and giving up picks for no Goga Bitadze.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

They can't. It's not a matching salary issue. They're hard capped at first apron, and are actually currently sitting above that apron. They're likely going to have to have to have an open roster spot going into the season to be able to stay under.
Watford is already gone, and they'll likely cut Walker and Terry to fit Lebron and KCP under the cap.

They’re hard capped at the first apron.
It’s technically illegal..

I worked on spotrac but looking at it it is bc the trade machine isn't working off the pending salaries.

Yeah, it is legal until LBJ’s contract is on books. So you aren’t wrong.
But really tough to pull it off with LBJ’s salary.
