Doesn 't he get the 5 year benefit of the doubt? Or even the 5 month one?

He's French, we're Canadian, and his mom is Lithuanian or Lutheran or some damn thing. When you add in the fact that he's playing in the states, the conversion rates suggest that he should either have been judged 3 years ago, or we should hold off until 23.75 years after he retires.

Man he'd really help our team in the interior aspect of things. His D and rebounding would come in handy. Plus he has good hands around the rim.

I'd rather have a high maintenance super scrub that lays it all out on the line for my team than an extremely streaky finesse big man that hangs out on the perimeter, gets lost on d, and can't rebound.

Noah played 23 meaningless scrub minutes in a blowout loss to the Magic.

Nice time to break out with a 'statement' game.

What if his statement was 'I kill in scrub games'? Huh? What then?

In that case, he'd be great on a team that fielded only scrubs in their starting lineup... like the Knicks.

And knowing the character of those players, they'd NEVER vote to suspend him for a game: +1 for Noah

I posted this very trade in the Bulls thread. To the people who are underestimating Noah, I'm convinced he will average 15 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals when he gets starter minutes. He already projects to roughly those numbers over 35 minutes per game. Bargnani might give the Raptors 20 PPG eventually, but that's a pretty big if right now.

I hate when Noah does something regular, he'll look into the crowd and shout at us.

I dont know what it is...but I truly genuinely authentically hate the guy.
He has no talent. He is a hustler, and has been in some positions with the right role. He is not even close to HUMP in terms of potential.

If you think otherwise, you clearly have not watched Noah play. in. my. opinion.

No. Only our players are allowed such largesse. Anyways:

Every one of your posts is advocating for a Bargs trade, supposedly to save him. Please stop. None of us have any control over trading Bargs. If you have a problem with some of the overreactionary kids on RealGM saying mean things about Bargs, put them on ignore like I did. Don't keep wasting everyone's time with the type of post you just made.

Aside from realgm.com, BARGNANI himself has admitted he is struggling. We all know he is not playing up to his potential. It's quite obvious.

That stats don't mean anything. We know those numbers will get better for Bargnani sooner than later.

Are some people serious about this or is it a joke? I mean this is the second time the same question has been asked in less than 3 days, so I'm assuming it's the former.

Another PF for PF trade?
Even if your opinion on Bargnani is that low, this is a lateral trade at best. Someone compared him to Anderson Varejao...at least you can somewhat get away by playing Varejao as a Center, how are you going to be able to do that with a scrawny kid like Noah? If this was Lamarcus Aldridge we're talking about, I could understand, but Noah?

Has it not occurred to you that he only admitted that because he is too fast for his interpreters to keep up?

It amazes me how people will go to extraordinary length to defend Bargnani when he proves time and time again he can't do whats asked of him.

Noah is an extremely valuable player to have on a championship caliber team. He is a Malik Rose (when he was great for the Spurs, not the awful player he is now) type player, a guy you can bank to give max effort EVERY NIGHT, and in the NBA thats a great trait to have.

Bargnani is a solid player, unfortunately he is a one trick pony. And his so called stroke has been awful this year. Clifford Robinson was a very serviceable player who NEVER learned to rebound after 20 years in the league. Andrea will never rebound in this league and his effort also tends to go up and down.

Noah is exactly the type of player we need. To make a trade, you have to give up something of value. You cant expect to fleece another GM every time. I would do this trade in a heartbeat.

Whereas Noah, being 2 months into his NBA career, has clearly reached his potential.
