Jake Fisher is the reason we have a random rumor thread.

There's also this guy.

Adams +18 to NO
Sabonis + McDermott to OKC
Hill + Roberson + 4 + 21 to IND

Future picks would probably have to be involved but this sort of framework.

Add Dipo and I'll do it. Time to get the band back together.

Huh, odd. Doesn't say Paul George is on the block. :dontknow:

How can James Jones help the Lakers? (other than taking Bonga and Wagner)

Waiving Tyler Johnson for no reason?
Giving them TJ Warren for free?
Taking Hill+pick in return for the Pelicans doing AD deal on July 30th?
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Apparently official, though don't know if it deserves its own thread: Atlanta trades #44 to Miami for a future 2nd.

So now the Hawks are down to 5 picks this year?

Kind of hoping Utah can buy one of those early 2nds from either ATL or PHI.

Agreed. And target an upperclassman who could potentially step into the rotation immediately.

That's my thought, I'm no draft expert, but looking at ESPN's board there's certainly some guys I liked in college that they have listed in the 30's and 40's.

Those types of picks don't get sold as much anymore. And I'm not sure why Philly would be selling either #33 or #34 when they are in much more desperate need for cheap labor than Utah is.

Maybe cash + the late Utah second (#53) or cash + future second for a pick in the 30's. I doubt that cash for a pick in the 30's is possible.

Everyone discounts this draft but besides for hard to sort out from 4-40 I like this draft a lot. ESP in the 30’s and 40’s and I’m not usually liking much in the 2nd round

I really hate that they do this. Is there really a market of people that want to watch the NBA draft but don't want to wait the extra 30 seconds to a minute to hear the pick live?

I think it’s the same issue media faces generally. If one person does it, can you really not do it? Comes with engagements, clicks, etc and they don’t care about how the process plays out for fans. But if I get push notifications I swear I’m going nuclear

I get why they do it but just find it incredibly frustrating. I end up just staying off Twitter like you during the NBA and NFL drafts but that's also annoying because that's where you also learn about trades which are sometimes not brought up or announced on TV for quite some time. Or you get the "they are actually selecting for team X" thing but want to know the details of the trade.

Yeah agreed it sucks. Trade announcements, interesting anecdotes, analysis I miss because these dudes want to comment “First”

Oh, I’d rather follow the draft on twitter and get talks and updates on deals than listen to Fran or whomever interview the drafted player off the stage and say the same things over and over. :dontknow:

We all have our feelings though. I’ll stay is n Twitter throughout for sure.

yeah I'll be on twitter and listening to the draft coverage on The Ticket in Dallas. I love draft night, but have no use for the TV coverage.

YEah. I find the sports interview to be one of the biggest wastes of time. It takes someone Uber talented to make use of it, like a Doris Burke.

Also absolutely despise the “Talk about...” questioning post game and during the draft.
