The Washington pick goes top 14, 12, 10, 8 protected. At some point that one should convey and you have a real shot at late lottery.
The Detroit pick goes top 16, 18, 18, 13, 11, 9 protected. I have faith Cade should be good enough almost halfway through his second contract to keep Detroit out of the top 9 if the pick hasn't already conveyed. Feels like it'll be a middle of the draft pick.

So I think it likely ends up being two picks that are somewhat similar to the single pick sent out, but those could be weaker drafts and you have to wait quite a while for them to convey. Certainly not strong additions to a Shai timeline.

OKC was going to be bad no matter what this year. Tbh I'm not sure who they could have taken who'd make a difference, and I like the Giddey pick and Mann is fine. Great night for Orlando so far.

Wasn't so long ago at all that Houston was the vanguard of "the 'Big Man' is no more!" movement. Now they've used two first rounders on big men

Houston did amazing with the picks they had coming in, but gaffed with the trade. Going to be fun to see them roll out three Cali boys with Green, Christopher & K-Mart.

I think what they gave up may have been an overpay, but I don't hate it. Overall they have a nice group of guys to try and develop moving forward.
