True. Those picks may not convey for a few years though in that case they may be pretty solid when they do convey. It'll be interesting to see when OKC flips the switch to try and really start getting help around Shai.
Those picks are well protected . Protected into non lotto and if we are unlucky they become seconds.
The Washington pick goes top 14, 12, 10, 8 protected. At some point that one should convey and you have a real shot at late lottery.
The Detroit pick goes top 16, 18, 18, 13, 11, 9 protected. I have faith Cade should be good enough almost halfway through his second contract to keep Detroit out of the top 9 if the pick hasn't already conveyed. Feels like it'll be a middle of the draft pick.
So I think it likely ends up being two picks that are somewhat similar to the single pick sent out, but those could be weaker drafts and you have to wait quite a while for them to convey. Certainly not strong additions to a Shai timeline.
