To be fair, Jason Dumas traded Simmons on draft night to the Warriors. He seems to have the sort of breaking info that few others receive, even afterwards.

Fall was on a Two-Way contract with Boston, so the harm done was wasting two seasons on him when maybe they could have developed somebody that would have eventually made a regular NBA roster.

I have the Fall signing as more of a symbol of problems in Cleveland rather than The Problem in Cleveland. So we do agree on that.

I genuinely believe Dan Gilbert said to David Griffin "I'll pick the first guy outside my office and make him my GM" during his contract negotiations and that guy turned out to be Koby Altman.

I remember Tacko being the only guy at the college level to slow Zion down a bit in the paint. While this isn't a league for big stiffs anymore, I'm still surprised he hasn't worked his way into a role somewhere.

I purposely avoided saying that he "stopped" Zion, only that Zion's college moves didn't totally work the first time going straight into a 7'5" guy playing in the middle of a zone defense. Zion did adapt as the game went along, though.
