The Lakers have swung and missed in free agency twice already. They didn't go into this with the expectation of staying tanked.
And I don't know that I'd put the 3 over Noel in this draft. Bradley's better than Saric right now, but for a team on Philly's timetable it makes little sense to trade for Bradley when you can just work with the assets you have. By the time they need a guy like Bradley they'll have their roster developed.
That's part of the reason Noel is being shopped—he doesn't fit the timetable.
You would not value the 3rd pick over a player that will be paid 18-20 mill to be your back up center one year from today. Please explain the logic you used to arrive at this conclusion.
