Meanwhile, TJ McConnell is likely out more than a month with a hamstring or groin injury. Didn’t see it definitively announced yet.
Gonna be a fun year for Indy!

The Pistons and Grizzlies are unlikely markets, but they both make a ton of sense basketball-wise. Cade + Giannis would be tremendous and Ausar and Ron Holland would be a good start to a deal. For the Grizzlies, Jaren Jackson and Aldama are quality shooting bigs, and if you have four 3pt shooters and Giannis out there and your 3rd best player is better than KPJ, you're probably in business.
This is an intriguing thought exercise!
I think Giannis wants to be in New York because of proximity to life outside of basketball, which is primarily in Greece.
Nonstop flights to Athens from eight US metros: New York (JFK & Newark), DC, Boston, Philly, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Los Angeles. (Of course he can fly private which would open up a few more, but it might still be limited based on the max range of smaller jets.)
Of these, Atlanta might have the best shot given the composition of their team combined with their draft assets. Personally, I have massive doubts about Young, but is he enough of a "star" for others? Or do you try to move him in a deal for someone better?
