Orlando saw this fit and knew that they had no other choice.

I'm not sure a bigger name gets traded between now and tomorrow veteran-wise but I bet we see a lot of on the clock trade ups and things like that with Thybulle, Russell, etc types being dealt in between.

Didn't Woj previously say Smith was a lock like a few hours ago?

Woj made the biggest mistake of his career or just won a lot of money.

That typically doesn't happen. In draft, trades happen when a player a team wants is available. Take Minnesota for example, they probably spoke with Cleveland and said we will give you #19 and X and Y for #14 depending who is available.

Minnesota did this a few years ago and messed up. They thought there was no way Cleveland takes Garland at #5 with Sexton on roster. They traded up from #11 to #6 in hopes of Garland and then Cleveland snags him.

I feel like I actually have no idea who they are about to pick. It wasn’t even a question until 5 minutes ago.

Those people starting topics during the day crying about the 'good old draft days' and how everything is 'spoiled' and the draft is ruined for them

IDK why people are so convinced Orlando was doing a smokescreen. They have the only pick in the draft that doesn't need one. I genuinely think they weren't sure.

Why Orlando had to hide this like this?? Don't get it.

Think OKC still picking Chet...Jabari didn't work out with Houston but they should be happy to get him.

Woj must be pissed, saying it was Jabari for a while now.

Is there any way you could watch the draft without spoilers but receive notification of trades?

I'm going to go further. No "whoa" or "surprise coming either". If we wanted advance warning on things, we'd be on Twitter. Just wait for the pick to be announced.
