SAC is going to get trashed for picking Keegan Murray, but I think he is better than Ivey. I watched a lot of Iowa basketball these last two years. The Hawkeyes never ran anything for Murray - he nearly led the nation in scoring anyway. He is super-quiet, only talks trash when he goes against his twin brother. Super smart, never makes a bad play. He has improved tremendously in just the last two years - he almost wasn’t drafted, so he appreciates where he is, and puts in the work. He was also patient last year, doing everything Iowa needed why they featured Luka Garza. His behavior reminds me a little of (dare I say it), Kawhi.

To be fair to the Kings, they've done a good job drafting under the current FO. So thinking about it again I'd be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here.

Ivey isn't a PG.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Cade isnt really big enough for SF. Im guessing they'll see if a Cade/Ivey backcourt can work

I like the pick for Sacramento, I would've considered him over anyone other than Chet.

Tari Eason is the guy with the highest potential left imo (of college guys), interested to see where he ends up.

Brunson/Ivey backcourt w/ cade at SF? seems undersized/weak on D

Trust your own board not what mock drafters are saying.

I appreciate the positive vibes feedback here, but when it comes to Vivek and the Kings, "trust your own board" is such a hilariously ironic encouragement to give I couldn't help but laugh a bit.

These comparisons are hilarious. Ja Morant speed and quickness with Dwyane Wade finishing and strength?

Yeah that would be the clear #1 pick if that were the case.

Very interested to see what the Blazers do at #7. Lots of guys needing development time in this part of the round, and they may not have the patience for that.

Knicks may go hard for Ivey. He's such a Thibs guy and I don't like the Cade/Bey fit. They need an on-ball defender as a guard somewhere

I do think that leads Detroit away from aggressively pursuing Brunson/another lead guard.

Congrats Pistons! They didn't flinch on any game of chicken with the Kangz and got a great star potential prospect fall into their laps.
