But we are talking about maybe the worst offensive player in the league who isn't a center and not even many of them are worse. He's brutal. Can't shoot from anywhere, can't draw fouls, turns the ball over way too much, can't finish at all (under 50% at the rim).

Not that I disagree with the point, but this is basically Rondo and he got $9 mil (it was a stupid contract though).

Basically a 32 year old Rondo who is a significantly worse scorer, significantly less of a passer, half the rebounder and a better but average defender ? That player doesn't sound like he belongs in the NBA to me. Much less makes me want to send an asset for him.

I don't think Rondo has belonged in the NBA for years now but he's consistently found suitors, so that was kinda my point.

Seems kind of exaggerated to compare him to frank. A few years ago he was an assist leader. Contributed 2 two playoff teams. Rondo is a fine vet min/ exception player.

Yeah but rondo can dribble the ball and pass. Frank can’t do that.

Rondo is absolutely an NBA talent. Ideally as a 15-18mpg backup, and ideally he doesn't mope about those types of minutes, but he is a quality specialist at this point who is worthy of a Vet Min or BAE type deal.
