Feel like this trade no matter which of the two teams monroe or love ended up going to, would help all 3 teams significantly

So you want to send Love to Detroit, Monroe to DC and practically nothing to Minnesota and its supposed to be better for all three teams how?

So getting josh smith and kcp for a star who wants to leave is nothing? And also obviously nene and the bulk of that package that went to the pistons would now go to Minnesota. I'll make a new trade for you here

Nene and Josh Smith are bad contracts, KCP wouldn't even come close to making up the difference.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kge6qao

Wizards get
Monroe
Bynum
Barea(doesn't neccisarily need to be in this)
Villanueva

Pistons get
Love
Ariza
Harrington
K martin
(Maybe the first rounder...)
Wolves get
Josh smith
Nene
Kcp
(They prolly get a 2nd round draft pick from pistons or maybe was)

This trades a little bit of a mess cause it was thought up in 5 mins but it's a decent start. It could work for all 3

they are still good players tho and the wolves were desperate to get kcp in the draft. I don't see why they wouldn't do it especially if they didn't end up giving up their first rounder.

Just because you are a good basketball player doesn't mean you are worth your contract. Just because the Wolves wanted KCP in the draft, doesn't mean they would trade Love for the right to pay Nene and Josh Smith way more than they are worth.

Well my first idea was the one I liked more anyways, but I'm sure there's plenty of teams that would pay josh smith that much even if it is pretty dumb that he's paid that much. I don't see anything wrong with the first offer especially if otto porter was thrown into the mix

Sure, there are teams that would pay Josh Smith that much, but they would have to be compensated for doing so. KCP isn't enough. The first deal still has the problem of the Pistons just cutting the Wizards out even with Otto Porter

Nene is better than you're giving him credit for. He might be overpaid and get injured plenty but when he's on the court he brings a lot to the defense and things that don't show up on the stat sheet. The wiz are a completely different team when he doesn't play trust me on that

and Kevin Love is significantly better than you are giving him credit for based on these sweetheart deals.

I think otto still has some pretty high trade value even with his rocky start he's gonna be fine, he's another guy that the pistons liked back around the draft and would fit nicely moving forward. Ariza is playing really well this year and could be a nice piece for a contending team. The pistons would be decent contenders moving forward with otto and the wolves first pick and i would say Greg Monroe kcp and josh smith would he worth them giving up love.

Not a chance. This is pointless.

There is plenty wrong with it...

Wolves already owe their 2014 pick to the Suns top 14 protected, so Wolves 1st needs to be removed.
Wizards already owe their 2014 pick to the Suns top 12 protected in 2014, Top 10 in 2015-2019, unprotected in 2020 so until that pick is conveyed the Wiz really can't deal a future first either let alone multipule.

Trust me I know how good he is but anyone who thinks he'll stay in minny long term is delusional. The Knicks and lakers have nothing to offer for love, who else is gonna get him then? The mavericks or suns maybe? I really can't see that many teams who are actually in play to get him. What teams do you think have the best shot at trading for him

Delusional like thinking Nene, Josh Smith and KCP is enough for Kevin Love?

So the Wolves are trading Love, Martin and lotto pick.... yeah that makes sense. Not to mention it doesn't matter what it looks like until the season is over the Wolves and Wizards can't trade 2014 1st or future 1sts.

I'm not angry and I'm not calling you delusional, that is unless you actually think he's staying in Minnesota
