Philly could be nice next year
MCW
Irving
Young
Noel
Hawes

If I were Melo I would consider that squad over the Lakers

No thanks, Philly has 0 desire for Irving

the Lakers then can sign Melo. Irving/Kobe/Melo.

I would pay money to see Kobe, Melo, and Irving together

Another very easy no. Irving is better than Rondo and AV is better than Sullinger.

Thinking long term....money wise.

1. Don't offer a guy that is going to be a FA this summer, even if he is restricted.

2. Don't offer a player that is already in the heart of his prime.

3. BEGIN with a really good 2014 pick. If your team could have a Top-5 pick and you DON'T offer that, it is pretty insulting.

If Cleveland trades Kyrie then they are going for a re-build with 2 Top-7 draft picks in a LOADED class.

Why would any Cleveland fan be asking for Westbrook and Harden? They would be equally unhappy ball-dominant guards only with smaller team control and on a much larger contract. I couldn't think of a worse move for Cleveland than trading Kyrie for Westbrook or Harden.

Just for kicks Knight/bucks 2014 1st

This is the type of deal I could see Cleveland making. Cleveland would have 2 Top-10 picks in this draft. I can think of a MUCH worse way to re-build.

Two things: 1. You saw the part about the Cavs taking back Nash? 2. I'd be surprised if Gilbert traded Irving to the Lakers.

The Lakers would have to take back Jack, and even then, the deal does not get done.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I really want him because of his offense but realistically he's looking like a Monta Ellis and a lot of these offers are ridiculous.

Cleveland would have to add something but something along the lines Westbrook+Sef for Irving+Deng swap would be tempting to start with. OKC doesn't really have cap issues this year or next, so the money savings is a non-issue. Irving has a history of injuries where as Westbrook has just one thats taking for ever since doctors keep messing up/missing things, so its a safer bet to just go with Westbrook unless Cleveland added some incentive. I think Cleveland could still offer a player the max, and trade a potential top 3 pick if they were to shut Westbrook down for another elite player, so it could make Cleveland a contender asap, but OKC doesn't have any real incentive to swap them.

Yeah the Cavs wouldn't do that. Many Cleveland fans, myself included, wouldn't trade Kyrie for Westbrook straight up.

Thats fine, I don't have much interest in Kyrie for OKC. I was just answering the question.

Kings would offer our lottery pick, served with a juicy slice of irony, and Isaiah Thomas.

Lowrys a 27 year old soon to be UFA, Kyrie is 21 year old with 1 year left on his rookie deal and a RFA. The knicks pick is crap as nuggets have the right to swap, our pick is the 24th pick this year and Ross is a decent prospect. Nothing to special here.

If Kyrie were serious about getting out and the Cavs were to consider trading him, what would the offers be?

Lakers would definately bid for him

Yep... To pair him with Kevin Love in 2015

It's weird how different his value is from fans perspectives.

Most Cavs fans turn down every offer.

Most unrelated teams offer huge value

And fans of "rival" teams randomly chime in that none of the deals are good and Kyrie is nothing special..at 21..

I don't think Cavs shouldn't trade Kyrie. Cavs should (IMO) do all they can to stay in that 6th-7th spot..or an extra 2 losses get them into that 4th spot.. With the cap space, Kyrie+Waiters+Thompson+another top prospect.. Would be hard to be bad next year..

Tell Deng it's tank city for 3 months and if he isn't interested or if he isn't interested in resigning, they will look to shop him ASAP. Trade AV as well, his value is only going to drop from this point (great contract great season)..

Maybe something with Phx does make sense,

Deng for Okafor+Wiz pick
Follow up
AV for Kravtsov, Christmas, Minn first?

Seems light though..

Legal thanks to Suns cap space.. And makes them a much much better team this year..

Cavs get much worse, get two firsts that are much better than what they paid for Deng in first place, and can draft a center or look at Monroe/Gortat/Asik/etc this offseason..

The thing with kyrie and how bad hes looked this year i think he could be really great with another offensive threat. Someone like LMA would make his game some much better. They'd be a perfect pick and pop/roll fit. His bigs are pretty offensively challenged in Cleveland.

(Im not suggesting portland be involved in a trade just using LMA as an example player)

Rondo and 2015 1st? Or is that a low ball offer?
