Yeah maybe you take Marcus Smart then, (if he's still there @ #8) for scoring, or Gary Harris, or even Vonleh(we need bigs who can score,rebound).

Anderson, while I love him, is just too similar to Iggy imo.

If GSW deals Barnes for #8...it's cause they can tae McDermott. It would be a case of GSW thinking it's simpler to go with McDermott than coach up Barnes who's a great athlete..in need of "detailing". While GSW plays Iggy at SF... if he is a ROLE GUY.. scoring 9 ppg.. you probably use him as a 6th man. However...Dray Green often does that role guy thing better. Smart is good but.. how does he get any role on GSW? For GSW...especially if Barnes is swapped...SF is where there's some role and minutes.

Barnes is a lottery pick from was considered a better draft. Rookie starter and a producer in the playoffs. People are operating the value of draft picks. Picks in the 20s can be bought for cash.

GSW acquiring the 8th pick and selecting Smart is highly unlikely but looking forward to next season GSW only has Curry, Thompson and Nedovic under contract so under those circumstances there would be a rather large role available for Smart to fill.

Again, I think the point is moot since the W's likely won't be able to trade into the top ten.
