Nope, in order to get him the money they did, they used part of the Room Exception. And then used the rest to get Xavier Henry a small bump over the minimum deal he would have gotten otherwise.

I believe Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders was the first to report both. That is at least where I saw it first.
