Bismack will probably be the highest paid player on this list. Four years $48 million minimum. Probably closer to $56 million. Asik and Kanter will probably get around $32 million over four years. Chandler's money is going to depend on how many years he wants guaranteed. Robin Lopez and Koufus see $32 million over four years.

WAIT WHAT!!!???? :o :o :o :o

What am I missing??

Bismack will get paid more than Kanter and Osik

You know you just said Biyombo will get paid more than Nikola Vucevic and not even the same but 8 mil more

Seriously though, care to explain why you think this?

what vucevic makes is kind of irrelevant, since if he was a UFA he would see a ton more the he is currently making. he would get brook lopez money in FA right now

Bismack is defintely going to be the top paid of not top 2 paid from that list. 4/44-4/50 sounds about right given an increasing cap

Well if that's the case I can and will only feel bad for the team that does that regardless of the cap increase.

All I have to say on all of this is, "One season does not a career make." Like you, I'm too lazy to look it all up, but Jefferson's career offensive numbers have been really solid. Biyombo has never shown anything offensively at any point. And he's not a big enough plus defensively to offset the huge minus he is on offense.

Any contract above 10 million a year, even with a rising Cap, is a mistake. But that is ok. After the next work stoppage in 2017, we'll probably have another Amnesty Provision and it can be wiped away then.
