It will be interesting to see if Mintz's (Harris's agent) actions with PG affect his other clients market. It seems like it may have affected John Collins. Mintz isn't a big time agent so it could bite his other clients.

4 and 60-75M next summer. 3 and 45 if he wants something now.

At least 20 mil. 22-23 mil a year seems likely.

Who is giving him 20m plus?

Nobody is having any capspace next summer. There will likely only be 3 or 4 teams even in the ballpark of 20m in space.

If I'm ending my rookie deal, I'm taking pretty much whatever I can get from an extension.

That's a great point. How many teams will have $20 million + to offer ANYONE and how many of those will throw that at a restricted free agent? I love Harris' game but RFA didn't have a great run this off season.

Pacers will have cap space and nearly traded PG for a package headlined by Harris. So that could be one suitor. RFA makes it tricky though.

40m combined for Harris and Oladipo?

It's a potential landing spot. But yes, RFA, plus there's maybe 20 - 30 better/similar free agents vying for that cap space.

Teams with capspace (and no immediate chance at franchise changing players) are much better suited waiting the market to play out and grabbing the bargains.

Needs to defend PG long term with his **** length. Good off ball type PG. Would love to have him on a reasonable deal.

I think couple teams have the room to offer him 20M per year.

76ers have the space and the need. The same can be said about Atlanta. Dallas could be also another suitor if Dirk retires and they trade Wes Matthews. Orlando could also do it if they want to use Fournier as their SF.

Exactly. Gary Harris is a decent player but he's not sniffing an All Star game. The salaries from last summer are not the new norm. Guys like Harris are worth $15m/year going forward if you want to field a competitive team.

Nobody with cap space is giving him $25m/year next season. Denver should offer him 4/$64m or let him try RFA....good luck.

You may be right about the salary, but All-Star or not doesn't mean anything. It's not even a measure of a player's skill and it certainly isn't a measure of potential. Just sayin'.

more or less than Avery Bradley will get as a UFA?? my gut tells me that Harris will make less, and I don't think Avery is going to top 20 million. 4/65-70 seems fair for Harris.

He would be such a great fit in Philly. Elite off the ball (spotting up from 3, cutting to the basket) which makes him exactly what you want next to their Big 3. He can guard the 1 next to Fultz, and plays well next to play makers in the front court. Fits in age wise with their core too.

If they can lock in Roco in a renegotiate & extend now, I think it would be worth it overpaying Harris to add another core piece who's a perfect fit. I think 4 years $100 mill could turn DEN off matching, with Murray (& Beasley) behind him ready to go.
