Rubio/Dunn-Wiggins-Butler-16th pick-KAT

not a bad core

Easy yes for MN, likely easy no for Chicago.

I'd say LaVine, 7, and Rubio for Rondo, Butler, and 16 might be closer.

That's close for me. I'd prefer something like 13, one of your seconds this year, Beasley, and Chandler or Faried.

Yes, I'm taking that for MN. One of Collins, Markannen, OG, Allen gets taken at 11.

I just wanted to say that I've been impressed by the quality of many of these offers.

Good job, posters!

Maybe a 3-way? Not sure if SAC would be down, but:

MKE out: Middleton, Henson, #17
MKE in: #7, #10

MIN out: #7, Dunn
MIN in: Middleton, Henson

SAC out: #10
SAC in: Dunn, #17

That is insanely bad for MIL. Not only is #7 and #10 really bad value for Middleton alone but takes away maybe MIL's best outside shooter on a team desperate for more shooting. It also would be a step back for the team, all for the chance to get 2 more non premium picks. It doesn't make any sense for MIL

Needless Content Removed--Chuck theres no way on earth middleton is worth 2 top 10 picks, cmon be reasonable

shrink wrote:This will change as we get closer to draft day, but a rough idea for picks would be:

1. BOS - Fultz?
2. LAL - Ball?
3, PHI - Fox?
4. PHX - Jackson?
5. SAC - Smith?
6. ORL - Tatum?

7. MIN - ????

MIN could pick Ntilinka for a trade down (Bleacher Report says he'd be a good fit here) to a team that needs a PG more, like DAL or NYK. Or they could trade out of the draft entirely for a starting PF or 3-D Swingman.

Ideas?

Okay, i will bite from Philly.

If Philly was thinking:
#3 Jackson
#7 Monk?

And running an absurd lineup of:
Monk
Jackson
Simmons
Embiid

With maybe Jrue at the pg slot, or Simmons there (silliness) and a pfstarting as well as Simmons then Covington could theoretically be moved. This will anger a lot of fans, especially as:

Monk
Covington
Jackson
Simmons
Embiid

would look pretty great.

So, I could say Covington + incentive. With incentive being pretty able to get from the worst of 2018 Lakers and Philly unprotected picks, the worst of Philly and Sac unprotected 2019 picks, Okafor, the Okc pick, Holmes, Korkmaz, TLC, etc.

Covington still seems the ideal guy on the Twolves as a (streaky) floor spacer and at this point an absolutely elite defensive player. Problem is that also fits Philly perfectly. But without Covington I don't see a trade that isn't Minnesota getting all their value as future draft assets, unless a third team is roped in.

What about a three teamer:
Phi -- Worst of 2018 Phi and LAL unprotected 1sts and Okafor for #7
Phx -- Bledsoe for Worst of 2018 Phi and LAL unprotected 2nds
Minn -- Bledsoe and Okafor for #7

Nope. Not feeling that without a Dunn or Rubio trade as is for Minnesota. Okay, well, thats the sort of template I can do for Philly, if anyone wants to try a different third team.

That's a strong looking Philly line up if their health all holds up. Great potential on both sides of the ball.

More what I can see Thibs doing vs. what I would do...

To Bulls: Rubio + #36
They get a younger version of Rondo for next to Butler.

To Philly: C. Payne or Valentine + #7
Draft Jackson and best G at 7.

To Wolves: Saric + Covington + Rondo + #16
Thibs gets shooting and defense and vet bridge PG he has history with.

Towns | Dieng...hopes Dieng can bring D against 2nd units
Saric | Bjelica...shooting next to Towns
Wiggins | Covington...Covington can play some PF but is off bench 3D specialist
LaVine | Wiggins | Dunn
Rondo (Dunn when ready) | Dunn | Jones

With #16 Thibs takes his ideal defensive big. Probably one that can make Bjelica expendable and even start if he develops well enough -- that way if Wiggins-LaVine starting together pairing crash and burns, Saric slides down to SF and #16 slides in to PF while Wiggins or LaVine becomes super 6th.

Curious about an alternative offer of Brogdon / #17 for #7?

Are most Bucks fans that high on Smith? COuld Dallas get in on this if he's available at 9? I'd love to have Middleton with Barnes and Noel. We can include Curry and Matthews as needed and take back a bad contract ala Henson or Telly.

Would the T'Wolves be a good fit for Josh Jackson? Enough to give up Kris Dunn and 7th for 3rd? Would Philly touch that deal?
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

If Isaac and/or Markannen are on the board at 7, I'm sure the Jazz would show some interest.

Something like Derrick Favors, Trey Lyles and Boris Diaw (who you'd waive) for Aldrich, Payne and the #7 pick would be my starting offer.

You get some cap space by waiving Diaw, Favors can play alongside of KAT and Lyles can be a stretch 4 off the bench.

Jazz can use Isaac or Markannen to replace Favors and the combo of Aldrich/Payne can backup Gobert. It's a little tough to eat Aldrich's contract, but we need a backup C and we can move Alec Burks in a separate deal to clear some space.

As a Dallas fan give me Smith and Curry over Middleton .. The Bucks can have Matthews for free if they want
