Adams is good, but don't love this for the Pelicans, they seem to be going a lot of directions all at once.
I bought a boat.

Yep I started really strong a couple of things, but I'm busy just building up a giant pile of crow to eat.

Re: Adams to Pelicans [Woj]
I like this for the Pels. They’re quietly having a nice little offseason. Keeping the team highly competitive but also cashed out big on Jrue whose a little old for their timeline. They’re pretty loaded with picks and have a competitive team to go with it.

Probably hate it a lil more than Bledsoe and Adams will be clogging the paint for Zion.

Re: Adams to Pelicans [Woj]
I'd rather Bledsoe been included instead of Adams if Nawlins is giving up a FRP and 2 SRP's. HIll can get back a pick(s) by himself.

Yeah, it's hard to be happy with the Hayes pick (after trading down from #4 to take him) if you don't see him giving you something approaching starters' minutes in year two. They definitely seem convinced they don't want Zion spending much time at the 5, which seems weird to me.

They don't have this all figured out yet. Zion hasn't even played a full season yet and Hayes is still raw. Give it a couple of years before you're disappointed.Prospect Dong wrote:dakomish23 wrote:Weird decision considering they have Jaxson Hayes. Maybe Griffin just wants to flip Adams down the line

My guess is this is SVG demanding his defensive anchor.

I think that's probably right. But I don't love dropping a lotto pick on a guy who's "still raw" in year two. This is when you're supposed to be earning your surplus value on your lotto picks, not gradually easing them in behind an expensive vet.
