Orlando is getting way too much value here IMO. Vuc is good, but not worth all this

Not worth all of what exactly? You make it seem like Carter Jr. and Lauri have proven anything in this league but being injury prone and acting like they're not up for their FIRST contract extension.

This is quantity for quality kind of trade and almost ALWAYS the team getting the quality player wins. Chicago pick more than likely falls out of the lottery and the future pick is not guaranteed.

Players with "potential" are only valuable when they actually demonstrate potential

He's has 1 season with a winning record, and even that was only 2 games above .500. he's a solid player, but not one you give up younger guys with potential and picks, one or the other.

So what about players like KAT, Booker, Beal, Holiday?

Remove the 2021st pick and I probably do it, fine with the pick swap in 2022.

Orlando would have to want to resign Lauri for the deal to work.
